So... FINALLY GOT SOME ACID

Hi all..... I live in a small town in northern AL. very hard to get cid here..... (btw im new, sup guys =] ) so my friend brings like 55 hits or somewere close to that , back from Iowa or some shit..... i cant remember were he said exactly..... so he gets over to the place were chillin at, and he dropped some on some gummy bears...... they kinda poofed up .... they were the sugary, big, kind not smooth ones you know? anyways.... i chew up both gummy bears, and sit there and suck on all the chewed up bits for a like 3 min...... then swallow it.....

It kicked in slowly.... I got one hell of a body buzz (btw i took 2 hits)

then i got the giggles.... then smoked some weed and a head buzz kicked in with the body buzz..... i was just feeling very euphoric... so about an hour and a half into the experiance.... we decide to go drive to the store, 5 or so miles away, we hop into my truck and crank up some KORN (i cant stand KORN) but last night that shit was so awesome on my system.... it kicked my trip in hard..... i was goin down the road, and the signs were glimmering and then streaking across my field of vision.... on my way back from the store, i was taking a left, and i swear to god my truck felt like it was hydroplaning (completely dry) i was kinda drifting into the right lane on my turn ..... it was all weird lol.......

so we get home n chill smoke a blunt, and were chillin with a big overhead light on, we decide its giving us a headache and maybe keeping us from trippin better.... so we turn the light off, were sittin in a dark room, with a few cracks of light comin from the window, were the cover didnt cover!

the crack of light manifested into a snake and slithered away lol.......

another crack of light on the bottom of the window, split up into 2 sep ones like i as goin crosseyed.. then it turns into a face starin at me looked like a tiger head er sumtin......

i ended up goin to bed after 5 or so houres into it.... it just wasnt doin to much more..... besides the hella body n head buzz and occasional halluc. if i concentrated on it, also got a few thoughts in my head u know...

im sittin here at my house now..... smoke a joint n i felt the body buzz all over... kickin out a lil now.....

so it wasnt all that strong.... first time... 2 hits... im very experianced with drugs.. so i wasnt worried about it......
 
You never had acid before and you went driving? not the best of ideas.

Maybe this belongs in trip reports btw?
 
First of all, you had no right driving under the influence of a pshychedelic like that. That's really fucked up. You could have easily killed yourself or somebody else. How cool would that have been?

Haha. ;) I'd be careful with that "I'm experienced so I wasn't worried" attitude if I were you. One of these days if/when you get a good dose of some real strong acid, you may be changing your tune on that comment. A good ego-shattering dose can fuck you hard. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. Just please don't drive on it.

I had a friend do the same thing...he took 2 hits and after it kicked in he drove around for 45 minutes and smoked a bowl driving. Then he says he got freaked out by the faeries in his back window dancing around and barely got back home...dumbass. I wonder how long he was watching them instead of the road...I shudder to think. He had only done acid once before and got the idea he could drive on it from driving bumper cars at busch gardens while I was babysitting. There was a time that day it took all my effort to keep him calm (I was tripping too.) 8)

You took 2 hits of LSD and you went to *sleep* after 5 hours? 8(

It must have been extremely weak, because 1 good hit of Acid should have someone wide awake and tripping for 7-8 hours easy, often longer. But anyway, you're luckier than me to even have found it and it's good that you had a fairly good trip.
 
Driving under the influence of lsd is reckless, irresponsible, and fucking stupid thing to do.

listening to korn while on acid is a lot worse in my opinion
than driving while on acid ;)

(note: i have never done either)

You got some bunk acid if you slept 5 hours into it.

Sheeeit, on good acid you should still be peaking 7 hours after you ate it... and wired for another 7 hours after that!

^^ hey, y'all can stfu, I like Korn (Got the Life and bulbs anyone? ;) ), and besides that, we respect all musical tastes here (and we laugh at the country and mariah carey listeners behind their backs, but at least they can't hear us and don't know)

Vis a vis the sleeping 5 hours into it deal, I've fallen asleep whilst tripping, and admittedly woken up still remarkably fucked, but it's not to say that sleeping is impossible, strong acid or no!

And for a first post in TR, I raise my glass to you =D
 
Hey now Mean Girl, be nice, they never said they didn't like Korn, but couldn't understand how they would soung good or be a good choice of music while tripping.

I love Korn, but I do not think I could ever listen to them while tripping, or Slipknot, Fear Factory, Mudvane or anything else that is heavy, it is too hard on my ears when I am that way.

acid is fun..... driving on acid isnt and can result in your death and the death of others please dont do that!
 
As everyone says, driving on acid is really stupid. I admit to doing it before, but I've tripped more times than I can count, and I've only driven hours after my peak, or when I was on a weak trip.
As the pharmecutical TV commercials say, "You shouldn't drive until you know how drug X affects you".

Also, don't think that you've mastered LSD. If you get your hands on some stronger acid you'll be in for a hell of a ride.
 
I just got some LSD for the first time in three years. I got some really good blotter and took two hits. To be completely honest, after having tried a line of research Tryptamines and Phenethylamines, I was not too impressed. I have tripped on LSD around twenty times, and I used to love it. However, I am not in the boat with the people that think LSD is the greatest psychedelic in the world. It is powerful, but that doesn't make it the best in my opinion. From my limited experience, I have enjoyed both 4-HO-MiPT and 2C-E better than LSD. I also like LSA (Morning Glory seeds) better as well. However, I had a great time last night on it.

my lsd was much stronger, I peaked very hard close to 14 hours and didn't fall asleep until the next night
 
roliepolie, what you just said is completely out of context. smoking whilst driving is hardly dangerous, and yes cell phones are dangerous while driving, but we're talking about a fucking psychedelic hallucinogen that fucks with your senses. if that's what takes for the kid to never drive on acid again, then so be it. and comparing driving on acid to talking on a cellphone or smoking while driving is the most absurd comparison i think i've ever heard.

LSD warps your perceptions, whereas distractions (i.e. talking on the phone) can intermittently block your perceptions. I'm not convinced that seeing an altered view (LSD) is any worse than having a "patchy" view (phone).

Unlike acid, you can turn off your phone, but there's usually no warning before an accident and so that point is moot. I expect there are people who are less safe talking an entire journey than they would be if on a light dose of LSD and (trying) to concentrate fully. I'll agree that "Light dose" is pretty subjective, but then so is any measure of how engaging a phone conversation is.

...In any case, I think roliepolie's point was really that although most people agree driving on acid is unsafe (also irresponsible, reckless, selfish...) it gets a bit redundant after the 4th person says it in a row.
