14g weed was immersed in 500ml acetone and left for 2 weeks.
The acetone was drained off, and allowed to evaporate. Some water was present in the liquid, it was also allowed to evaporate.
After a week of drying, approximately 1g of thick, sticky, black stuff remained. It has the consistency of tar, and it must be at least 70% THC. It is the stickiest substance I have ever seen. If you get it on something, it is very difficult to get off.
Usage:
get the equivalent of a 2x2x2mm piece on the end of a knife, then dip it in ground weed. the weed will stick to it like no tomorrow. Try and get it off into your cone, using the weed as a buffer between the amazingly sticky tar and your finger.
Smoke it, and it's like the cone that never dies. If you smoke it like you would your regular cone, your lungs will be full and the cone still smoking. What happens is that the weed burns, and leaves an ash structure that supports the 'resin' while it boils off pure THC vapor. This can be very harsh on your lungs.
Which brings me to my question. I did this procedure about 4 months ago, so it must be well and truly dry by now. However when I smoke it I get the feeling that i'm smoking acetone, the smoke is just so harsh. Is that accurate, or am I just interpreting the harsh quality of the high-thc smoke incorrectly?
Similar stories welcome, i'm the only one i know who has done this.
