I found this fascinating. The following link has a method based on logistic regression for predicting who will be inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame.

Using the stats of 716 retired NBA players as parameters in his formula, it correctly guessed which ones were in the Hall of Fame with 96.6% accuracy.

If you know your way around numbers it's not difficult to do your own calculations. He has it all outlined for you.
Use this website to find the player's career stats and just plug in the necessary ones into the formula.

The way he wrote the probability equation at the bottom was a little confusing because he used asterisks instead of ^. Using ^ to denote the exponent it can be written:
P = 1/(1+e^(-x))
where x is the value you figure out following his method with the player's stats.

I tested it with Allen Iverson and the outcome gave a 99.9% chance he'd be selected as a Hall of Famer.
