I'm applying to enter the army and I will have an urine drug test in just over a week - next Wednesday to be exact. I quit all drugs, including marijuana, around 2 months ago. Last night my brother had a plate of pot cookies sitting in the kitchen. No one was home and I didn't realize they were drugged, so I ate one - did not taste any difference at all. It wasn't until the effects hit about an hour later that I realized what I had done.
It wasn't a particularly strong cookie - I was moderately high for 2 hours or so and slowly sobered up. I've read that urine tests can detect cannabis for up to 30 days after their last use, but that's more referring to regular users. Should I be worried about this single use? The job is over if I fail, so big consequences.
Edit: I noticed the "no drug testing questions" rule after I posted this. Sorry. But I'm not asking how to beat my drug test - I'm just wondering whether or not I'm at risk of failing from this one time use. If so I'll try to get my test pushed back to a later date.
