Heroin Absinthe and opiods

I noticed last night that absinthe helps curb opioid cravings. Has anyone else noticed this or had a similar experience?

If anything, alcohol used to make me crave opiates.

Alcohol does the same for me, makes me crave more opiates. There is something different going on with the absinthe, did not see it coming and it was the last thing I expected. No sugar, just ice and a little water. Everyone is different though.
