Hey everyone, I was wondering what people thought about getting high and the use of THC prior to working out. Does anyone do that or have tried it?

I worked out the other day high and I must say the feeling was amazing much better than any munchies as the whole body seemed to react to lifting and curling and even running so I was curious to know if it was good on the body to smoke some weed before and then begin a work out session?
 
When I was able to get high by mere smoking weed acted like a performance enhancing drug and my amount of reps went up by 600-700%.
 
I'm sorry but working out + weed? :| I'd probably be able to do this if I could grow myself some sativa or get it from a dispensary.

But whatever the fuck weed i'm smoking now, I couldn't imagine hitting the gym after! I'd just wanna veg out and play xbox or something.

just fmi, d'you guys have access to high quality name brand stuff by any chance? :P

And yeah I know makes you want to keep going, espcially if you have good work out music on your ipod to listen to as your working out.
 
i was blasting Richie Hawtin's "DE9: Transitions" album while doing exercises with dumbbells.
NR, my ganja is lay about n fall asleep stuff too- its about willpower.
try forcing yourself to get up off your ass and jump about or lift some weights after hitting a bong or two. or five.
feels awesome bro :D
 
18kg each arm. nothing massive.

just a bunch of movement exercises i made up that exercise my chest muscles, arm muscles, neck, back, shoulder,
and punching power. ie holding each dumbell in a fists raised for fighting way, and punching forward at the air
with 18kg in each hand.
its a good way to build up your punching strength easily.

also theres stretches n crunches and leg stretches..
i dont have any routine, i just do what i fancy at the time. gonna work out in a bit after tidying my room in fact...

So I tried this, got home from work smoked a couple bowls. Tried lifting some weights, felt a lot harder/tiring than normal. So I went for a run instead and couldn't handle it after 5 minutes...


I Dunno, i'm not doubting it works, but for me when i'm stoned it's time to chill. I'm the kind of guy who'll smoke after a work out otherwise I just get lazy :P
