A Survey about Surveys

I just wanna get an idea of who is for surveys and likes them and who absolutely hates surveys. At least this way we can know what everybody REALLY thinks with respect to everybody else.

They are a waste of time, unless they are about topics that are relevant ot on issues that effect the whole board.

I used to think they were a fucking waste of time, and posted to tell e'one so, but now I've had a revelation and I think they FUCKING KICK ARSE !!!! They're a great way to see if you're just a freak or if everyone watches Pokemon 5 times a day(for example - which I don't!)

I'm not that impressed with them, but you can chose to ignore them if you want.
But hey, P-E-achy or Roller Girl, are you gonna tally up the results of these surveys you are posting, maybe do a bit of math and get some funky statistics about all of us. i.e. 27% of bluelighters think that putting ketchup beside rather than on top of your fries means that you like to pick your nose with a q-tip, given a SD of 4% and a rate of error at 1.2% (man, I totally forgot all my first year stats).
Now, that would be cool- a survey results and statistics post.

Personally, unless it’s drug related (which is why we are all here isn’t it?), I think these survey’s are a waste of time. I come to this board to educate myself about E and other related drugs. I’m beginning to find myself spending more time weeding through meaningless surveys trying to find something relevant. Peps don’t come to this site to find out what color your hair is, or what size shoe you wear. They are here to learn the effects of e, or acid, or meth, or any other illicit drug(s). They are here to learn about other people’s experiences with DRUGS, good or bad, not “Does your dog like chasing his tail?” <--Next survey. That’s my opinion, take it for what it’s worth,

I guess it depends on the surveys, if it has to do anything with E, or partying or something interesting about you then I'm for it. If it is stupid questions like "what is you favourite colour?", "When is you birthday?", "Do you prefer KMart or Target?" I'd say they don't belong on this board. Sure you can just ignore them, but then, doesn't it make this site much much less interesting?
For you survey, as we got much more of the second kind lately, I'd say I am against them.

I'm with PhillyBWa on this one. Bluelight is for a drug related forum used for knowledge and self awareness of drug use in todays society....not if you watch pokemon, or if you like oral sex...Sure these are fun every now and then, I don't mind posting to them once in a while, BUT LATELY THAT'S ALL THIS BOARD IS...SURVEY THIS, SURVEY THAT....Let's get back on the subject here, people with real questions arent getting answered because everyone is to busy reading the surveys....if you wanna know about someone, fuckin email them or go to yahoo chat or some other chat service...this is an informative board on recreational drugs and other topics relating to ecstasy.

here's a meaningless perspective to just cause terror :
suppose that the feds have a plan. and have a profiler working , as a bluelighter , and collecting the profiles or the survey info, of the people on here so they can modify there tast forces in the major areas . and work towards the ellimination of the dreaded evil drug users that are the whole cause of societies problems.
hmmmm, lol.... orwell might not of been crazy....
oh and i'm 50/50 on the surveys. they do help us get to know each other better, but at the same time , some copycats run off in a tangent , and wear it out ! but the oral sex one was the funniest i've read yet . i've got one to post , but i know i'll get flamed bigger than shit for it. hehehe

OK, here's the deal - I can't bitch about the surveys cause I feel like I may have been the one who got the ball rolling(however, if someone else wants to takt the blame, I'll gladly step aside). They were fun. Key word - were. I can't believe how many people have gone ape shit over this. Change is good - that's why we liked them in the first place, but I feel we are in need of change again. There are other ways to get to know each other. Besides, you don't always have to post it in the form of a survey(maybe so many people won't be pissed that way) I, want to apologize to those that feel I started this shit and I'd like to pass on a word to those who like the surveys - this is definetely a case of MODERATION. Please, people are getting pissed off and that's not what this board is for.
