A poem

[rollin daddy]

I feel like I have lost my way
But there is so much left undone
Another day another time
Somewhere beyond the sun
Things would have been different there
Our lifes would be at peace
But here and now the story fades
Now we seek release
We thought we were made
To make each other whole
I never saw it coming
But you persued another role
You wanted to be more
Than I could help you be
I tried to make your dreams come true
But now I'll set you free
This is the hardest thing in life
I ever hope to do
It hurts me worse than words can say
But to each other we must be true
I could only help carry you so far
But now you've moved ahead
I can only wish the best for you
For what will lie ahead
As for me, I will go on
And make the best of things
I cannot expect you to be tied down
By just these golden rings
The bond we had was very strong
I used to think you shoud have had a crown
The ties that once held us together
Now only hold you down
So in parting Let me say to you
That I truely do wish you the best
May your life be full of happyness
and your nights be filled with rest
I hope our paths will cross again
Away from lifes cruel bend
Perhaps we will remain friends
Remember this I will love you til the end.
