if anyones interested im gonna be doing a bi-daily log of this stuff. from a completely neutral position on prescription medication too. im not here to prove "i told u so" to anybody or bash pharmaceutics, i believe in pharmaceutics. i believe in chemistry. i am however a bit anxious going into this month of lexapro because it will be my first personal experience with a Rx drug.
i believe in side effects but i also believe in being able to prevent each one of them, which i'll be doing.
I start tomorrow, and like i said, will be writing every two days on how my attitude is affected.
all u guys are welcome in these writings.

What are you getting at? I don't see any relevance to the purpose of this forum, maybe I'm missing something. Why are you doing this? And why post it here?

very interesting. i've been on 20mg for a relatively long time and find it worthwhile, its def noticeable and not placebo

FWIW, I cannot tolerate the side effects of SSRI's. I've been on Lexapro, Prozac, Paxil, and Zoloft. They all made me unbearably anxious, hot, sweaty, itchy, shaky, nauseous, restless, and then there's the sexual side effects. Absolute shit drugs IME, but apparently they work out well for some people, particularly Lexapro. Good luck with it. I still dont see the point of this thread though.

Have fun.... ssri's never worked for me, yet. Was on lexepro, celexa which is just like the generic version of lexepro (got the weirdest dreams on both and was not me at all)... was on low doses and they kept bringing it up higher. They then put me on zoloft... was on 200mgs of it near the end and it still did the same shit... only wanted to bring it up higher too. Smh. Anyways I hope you only take these if you truly need them and they kick in after a few weeks.

Psycho,
Are you on any type of opiate or opioid On a regular basis? I recently was prescribed Lexapro and found that it took away all effects of my pain medicine.
Only took it for 4 days and stopped. It took a good couple of weeks for things to get back to normal again.
It doesn't make sense to my pharmacist at all, and it will probably sound weird on here too. Just figured I would share my experience so you can be on the lookout for this ( if you take any narcotics).
But yeah, I don't really see how this belongs here either lol! ;)
