Hello guys, just like the title says, how much hydrocodone is in a 750mg pill of vicodin?

I've been looking into trying a cold water extraction to feel more of the high without taking so much of the acetaminophen. Right now, I get an "okay" high off the 750mg but if I try to take more with it (like a 750 plus another half pill), or redose a few hours later, I get nautious. How many pills should I use to do a CWE for my situation?

thanks in advance.

What? Vicoden only comes in 5 7.5 and 10 mg strengths of hydrocodone.. The 750 you are talking about is the acetaminophen(aspirin) content. You can pretty much safely go up to about 4,000 mg of acetaminophen in a day without causing serious damage, but don't make it a habit. No need to do a CWE on one pill.

Thanks for the response. I am pretty new to vicodin, I never really used it much until recently. I want to get more of the "nod", but don't want to get nautious. Thats where the CWE comes in isn't it?

all I know is what my friend tells me, "its a 750". I don't know how much hydrocodone is in it. Would it be pointless to do a CWE on just 2 pills? How many should I use to get a good dose using a CWE?

lol funny stuff i dont know how many times ive snagged a few vics off ppl asking how many mg's they are and they tell me the tylenol(not poking fun) , try identifying your pill online, you should be able to find how many mg it is

^ya idiots used to tell me shit like that too, "oh ya man, i got the 500mg hydrocdone pills". i always just about laughed in their faces. then when you correct them, they act as if you just raped their sister. fucking morons. read a pill bottle why dont you.

the worst thing you can do is listen to your friend.
you don't even know how much hydrocodone you are taking.

i have a feeling that you would have a hard time doing some of these things on your own...

1. go to drugs.com.
2. click "pill identifier"
3. type in the letters and numbers on the pill
4. find the picture of the pill that looks exactly like the one you have.
5. come back here and tell us EXACTLY how much hydrocodone is in there, and how much acetaminophen is in there.

only then can we answer your CWE questions. we have no idea what you have. maybe its not even hydrocodone.

You don't need to CWE a couple of 7.5/750s. I don't want to give you any possibly harmful advice, but you should definitely not have any problems with tylenol if your only taking a couple at a time.

Cold water extraction does not increase the nod of a hydrocodone experience. All it does is enable you to take larger doses of hydrocodone while sparing your liver the large amounts of tylenol.

so whats making me get so nauseous then? I thought it was the tylenol in there that made me feel like that. I was assuming the CWE would take away the tylenol, thus making me less nauseous. My goal is to try and find out how many pills I can use in a CWE to feel the good stuff and not the bad stuff.

If it is the hydrocodone itself that is making me nauseous then should I take some Benadryl or some sort of anti histamine?

Sounds like your friend did you a favor and answered your question for you! I've seen 7.5's with also 500, and 325 I believe too. But my guess is that he likely saw the 750 on the bottle and told you that.

Edit- I'm no doctor but your nausea could just be becuase you have a really low tolerance and your body isn't used to feeling that way. I have gotten nauseous but never puked before and it was simply because I had taken too many of whatever opiate I was taking

Benadryl increase sedation and make you less itchy (if you are getting itchy at all).

Have you been taking 2 at a time? Maybe try just taking 1 at a time or 1.5 at most.

Nausea is a very common effect from opiates, especially if you're a beginner (or just going over your tolerance I suppose).

I've been taking only one each time. But when I have tried to take 1.5, I got pretty dizzy and nauseous. But in hindsight, I've realized that after every time I smoke a cigarette, I get the nausea. Maybe I shouldn't smoke when I take the vicodin.

I am a beginner with opiates. Just yesterday, I took a vic after work, on an empty stomach, and I got a pretty nice nod. I like the feeling I get from taking vicodin, but I want to feel more of the hydrocodone intensity without getting all sick. Maybe I need to move up to a stronger substance.

The only reason that you're feeling naseous is because you are virtually opiate naive at this point. Nausea is extremely common in the first few times that a person takes opiates. I know for me personally, I felt nauseous and puked after the first time I ate 15 mg of oxycodone and then smoked a cig. The nausea will go away after you've built up a bit of a tollerance (i.e taken the vics a few more times). Unfortunately you can't "feel the good stuff and not the bad stuff" with opiates. That's are just the way that they act in the body...

I would say stick with taking one at a time if that is truly enough to make you feel good. As you said above, you got dizzy after you took 1.5 of them so you really should just take one at a time until you build a tollerance to opiates. There are many people on this website that would give anything to go back to the days when a single vic 7.5 got them feeling good so enjoy it while it lasts. Opiate addiction is one evil biatch.

Just so it doesnt mislead anyone, acetaminophen is NOT aspirin.

ya cherish this time while you can. Another thing is if you want a stronger opiate buzz, maybe try a stronger opiate such as oxycodone (brand names include Percocet, Roxicodone, and Oxycontin (extended release)) if you can get your hands on them.

IMO oxycodone doesn't really cause me to nod too much though, its more of an energetic high where I can get stuff done, its perfect for school, i love it :P. If your after a euphoric nod however (which it sounds like from your posts) morphine always did the trick for me.

But actually in hindsight it would be best to stay away from opiates all together if you can.

Anyway, be safe, have fun!

Couple of things I've learned from experience that might help you--I have a very sensitive stomach and get nauseous from everything. Although the primary purpose of a cwe is to spare your liver from the damage that apap can cause, I've discovered that apap leads to brutal nausea for me. If I take opiates without the tylenol, or if I cwe pills that do contain it, I almost always experience less icky sick stomach. Secondly, I've discovered that if I take 1 or 2 dramamine pills prior to dosing the opiates (30-60 mins) I don't get nearly as nauseous. Reglan and Zofran are prescription (at least in the US) anti-emetics so they're not as easy to come by as the dramamine. But they're often used to treat chemo patients' nausea and if you can find a way to get a hold of either (preferably reglan) it should prevent the nausea or at least seriously lessen it. Of course, as others have said, sticking to smaller doses is probably the best thing you do, but if you experiment with higher doses anyway these tips should help you.
