6-APB Reagent Testing Clarification (Question)

Hey BL, long time lurker here.

I've been rather confused by the plethora of 6-APB testing data out there. Many people seem to suggest it should turn dark purple or black in the same vein as MDxx, however there are other posts that suggest a marquis result should be a reddish/brown color (such as in this thread http://www.bluelight.org/vb/threads...esults-for-stim-empathogen-2C-X-RC-s-amp-more)

I have found similarly contradictory results on other forums outside of BL.

I recently tested an old batch of 6-APB I've been holding onto since the MRC days (for those of you who know what I'm talking about) and got the following results:
Marquis: a reddish/brown color that evolved into what I would call a light purple color
Mecke: very dark blue (possibly green?) to black
Mandelin: a very slowly evolving purple color of a shade different than what I got on the marquis

I tested 5-APB from a totally different vendor acquired more recently and got totally different results
Marquis: dark green/black
Mecke: extremely dark blue/indigo to black
Mandelin: a brownish color
Note: I might be mixing up the mecke and mandelin results, as I have a photo without labels but I'm assuming from left to right I did marquis, mecke, mandelin as that's always the order I test in. If these sound weird at all I would definitely go back to retest them to be sure, I don't mind sacrificing a few more milligrams upon the altar of harm reduction. I'll also provide pictures (for both substances) if they would help anyone with their assessments.

As far as the 6-APB goes, I dosed 75 mg (only once and it was several years ago around when I first purchased it) and found it to be extremely powerful, with a nauseating, disorienting, and uncomfortable comeup (girlfriend reported exact same feeling). After laying on the couch together for about 30-45 minutes, this passed, and I was left with what I would say was actually a very pleasant evening. It was euphoric and reminded me of the MDxx I used to take years ago. The only thing that struck me as odd was that the come up was so intense and the dose seems so low relative to what a lot of people are suggesting (150+ mg and whatnot).

Any thoughts? Thanks for any input!

edit: both powders are off-white and floury/clumpy in texture; all testing kit reagents are around 9 months old, but have been refrigerated in a dark place the entire time (sealed)
edit 2: well, after doing a bit of reading about marquis expiration, I decided to go ahead and just order another testing kit so I can do a test using fresh reagents. regardless, I'm still open to anybody with an answer to my original question: is there a definitive answer yet for what color 6-APB should turn in reaction to marquis or is this still unanswered?

edit 3: Well, I received a new (fresh) set of testing reagents, and decided to test my 6-APB again. My results with the marquis actually followed the exact same scheme that DS's chart indicates MDxx substances should follow, going from a very light purple (almost burgundy in my case) to a darker purple and then finally to black. Either way, that still leaves me in the same situation as before with me not really knowing what's the deal. That stickied post seems to suggest that it should turn a reddish/brown color while other posters on different forums claim it should have the result that I got (being the same as MDA/MDMA).

Ive ran 6/5apb and 5mapb thru marquis, purple to black on all accounts. All but one, 6apb one time from a batch outside normal sources, which was just as good, came green for a split sec, then deep purple black. Maybe batch differences, impurities? Seemed to be tons of variety for a while there...
