5-HTP after alcohol consumption?

I heard you can have really adverse effects taking alcohol after ingesting 5-htp because you body has trouble proccessing both in the liver, its been about 5 hours since ive had my last drink (in total probably 4-5 beers with 5-6 shots of 50 proof liquor), can i take my 5-htp? i heard alcohol takes a while for the liver to process, so far my guess is no :/

I've done it a lot, but usually what I do is drink an Engage, which has 300 mg of caffeine and no sugar. The label doesn't say how much 5-HTP it has, but I almost instantly feel different. I generally wait a little before drinking, and the result is a similar feeling to that of drinking Joose or Four Loko, but without the gross sick, sugary feeling.

never heard of it being unhealthy or dangerous, ive done it many of times.... in saying that ive got no idea if it is!!
guess consuming alcoholl on 5htp will conteract the effects of 5htp temporarily.
