I received a sample of this from a vendor. I was told it is the beta hydroxy analogue of alpha-EthylMephedrone.

IUPAC: 2-(methylamino)-1-(4-methylphenyl)butan-1-ol

Thoughts?

I'll be researching this one tonight, will report back what I find

Re: 4-methylbuphedrone / alpha-ethylmephedrone (4-MeMABP, bk-N-methyl-4-MAB)
Alright, here's another report.

100mg oral had about a 40 minute onset and produced roughly 45 minutes of stimulation that felt very hard on the heart, with only a very slight hint of empathogenic properties. The comedown was not harsh but just made the experience more disappointing. That being said, this chemical is the least useful thing I've come across. I might even just throw it out. I see more potential in MDPV than this.

This is a pretty harsh review and I would typically plan to try a larger administration for better effects, but because of the adverse heart effects I am not interested at all. I have no experience with mephedrone, but this doesn't even come close to methylone.

Quick google search found this.

This is essentially an ephedrine, stay away. Cardiac effects abound. This is a primary metabolite of the 4-methylbuphedrone stated above. and has stronger MAOI and cardiac stimulant effects.

The ephedrine metabolite of mephedrone (mephedrol?) was speculated as the cause for "blue knees syndrome".
