Drugs consumed & method of administration:
A small amount of 4-mar (2-7mg) - vaporised on aluminium foil
5 ‘Cones’ (unknown total size) of medium-grade hydroponic cannabis – smoked using a water pipe.
Previous experience & tolerance levels:
Cannabis: Experienced, last use was the early morning of the day before (Sunday).
4-Mar: 3rd usage, last use was a fairly large amount (60mg) on the Saturday night before (2 days ago).
Set & mindset:
Myself & Pete (a good friend from school)
It’s a Monday night and against my better judgement I’m going to go hang out with Pete (who just finished school that Monday) and our other friend T. Mindset is happy, albeit slightly stressed and longing to have no more assessment.
And thus, the story begins…
9:00pm – I think it’s getting a bit late, so I ring Pete to see if we are still up for doing stuff tonight. He tells me that T has piked due to unavoidable circumstances, and that he is going to play basketball with R. He offers me a lift and I accept.
9:30pm – Pete picks me up, and we go pick up R. We head out to a local school and play basketball for a bit. Then Pete offers me a cone and I smoke it. He has one as well.
10:30pm – After heading to Woolworths (a national supermarket chain) to pick up some sour lollies, chewing gum & drink, we take R home, as he needs to study for a Sociology test the next day.
11:00pm - We decide to drive up a local mountain and have another smoke. As we pull into the top of the mountain, we are amazed just how lit up the city is at night. It looks very beautiful, almost like a night sky full of stars. We walk down into the bush and find a new spot to smoke, which overlooks a large area of suburbia. I have another cone, however this time I pull it though cola (which cost 78c might I add
). The cone goes down, not as smooth as the last one. Pete declines from having another cone and we decide to head down to his house and hang out in his shed
11:30pm – We arrive home at Pete’s house. After checking inside to grab some water and some chocolate cake, we head out to the garage and put on a CD. Pete has a cone, and I relax for a bit, listening to the music.
11:45pm – Just chilling, chatting about random stuff, listening to the music. (one of Pete’s compilations) We both have another cone at this stage.
12:00pm – I’m starting to get sleepy by this stage, so Pete graciously offers me a small smoke of some 4-mar. I put a tiny amount onto a piece of foil and inhale it. Stupid me, forgot to pre-burn the foil, so I get a lot of foil-smoke as well. (absolutely horrible stuff).
Already, my brain kicks into gear. We put on a psy-trance CD that I have in my bag and listen to it. Already, the music is sounding better, but I mainly
attribute this to the cannabis.
12:30pm – At this stage, we’re a bit confused as to what to do. We turn off the lights and use a lighter and my mobile phone to create light shows to the music. The phone leaves wonderful trails in the air and the lighter looks like a strobe light. We decide to both have another cone, bringing both our totals up to 4 so far. (Pete had a cone before he picked me up).
1:30am – I suggest we have a game of Scrabble, as all we are doing at the moment is sitting listening to music. I can definitely feel the 4-mar at this stage; feelings of happiness, contentment and wellbeing. Someone once told me, “Meth is for the body, Ice is for the mind” and I completely agree. In relation to the stimulant effects; it’s not as much body rushes as more not feeling sleepy or tired. It synergises well with the cannabis, and makes for free-flowing conversations.
We eventually decide to make up our own rules for the scrabble game, as the normal rules are too boring. Pete suggests that we can make up our own words as long as we have a reasonable enough explanation for them. Also, we decided that we would write down the explanation of the words on a piece of paper too. This turned out to be the greatest game of Scrabble I’ve ever played.

I started with the literary masterpiece:
Neofub – Candy raver glow sticks & chuppa chup sticks, left by ravers after a rave. Plural (Neofub’s) used to label candy-ravers in general.
Pete replied with…
Balk LTD – Manufactures the Neofub’s glow sticks and chuppa chup sticks.
To which I added…
Heist – Balk LTD are in a state of market heist about manufacturing the Neofub’s stuff.
We laughed about this next one for a good long while…
Jurted – (as in pain of yearning in bad guy in bond movies accent) What the other companies experienced after Balk LTD overran the market.
I made 2 words with this move:
NexGasp – The company who originally manufactured the Neofub’s stuff. The Market heist by Balk LTD caused the CEO of NexGasp into a
Shiest
Shiest – The CEO of NexGasp was in a mood to shiest someone at Balk LTD.
Pete then came up with...
Code Roj – The Secret service style of company. They’re hired killers and make a packet as well. NexGasp industries have hired Code Roj to “take back” the Neofub marketplace.
Zenet – The futuristic style internet which the Neofub’s receive their advertising in. Balk LTD has *extensive* Zenet servers.
Heebmoo – The type of Matrix style “Agents” that protect the all powerful Zenet to rule the lives of the general population.
HeyVita – A Burt Newton “Good Morning Australia” style presenter, streamed live off the Zenet.
This last one had us in tears; I never think I’ve laughed so hard:
Maniac-Code Roj – Could be either a specialist Code Roj soldiers or a bad eighties movie with a lame Robocop type dude on it. His name would be Maniac – Code Roj.
3:00am – The game of scrabble ends; it seems that the attention-span was the final victor. After having another cone each, Pete & myself walk around his block talking about the state of the world ect ect. Finally, we hit the sack and sleep. I don’t actually fall asleep till 3:30am.
8:00am - Wake up, Pete drives me home and I hop into bed, back to sleep.
Conclusions:
Well, this proved (yet again) to be a very very enjoyable synergy. The game of scrabble was the high point of the night; I’d recommended it to anyone who wants to have a very big laugh… Next time I think I’ll have to try an acidic game of scrabble
