Hi, Im putting together a package for myself and my friends to help with our incesent 4 day weekends. Im aware that im not getting any younger but as I seem to be staying awake more often for even longer and eating even less, it would make sense to ( grow up and take a break
) have a regeneration kit that I can absorb to sustain this unhealthy lifestyle.
I would aprreciate any input you can give to help me with this.
So far my list consists of..
L'Tyrosine - For Dopamine
5htp - For Seretonin
Meletonin - For Sleep
Rehydration Powder
Multi Vits, Vit B6, Vit C
Complan - Nutritious vitamin rich drink (available in Boots/Superdrug)
I understand after serious dopamine depleation, foods with Phenylalanine are the primary source for repleneshment. L'tyrosine is the next stage in the process so a suppliment can also help with this.
Phenylalanine --> L'tyrosine --> L'Dopa --> Dopamine.
Note: I may be wrong but Im sure I read that it is better for your body to process L'Dopa from L'tyrosine rather than suplimenting it. ?
Foods rich with Phenylalamine are ..
high protein food products such as soy products, chicken, turkey, fish, peanuts, almonds, avocados, bananas, milk, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, lima beans, pumpkin seeds, and sesame seeds
A banana and peanut/almond butter smoothie with complan should go down ok during and after my 100 hr marathon
.
After seratonin depleation, 5htp is the supliment to take for this aidied with Vitamin B6. 5htp also helps with produces Melatonin for better quality Sleep.
Note: Melatonin is available as a sleeping aid online, may be available in one or two health food shops but is not licenced in UK chemists or available in Holland and Barrat.
For seratonin. Most protein-based foods or dietary proteins. It is particularly plentiful in chocolate, oats, durians, mangoes, dried dates, milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, red meat, eggs, fish, poultry, sesame, chickpeas, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, spirulina, and peanuts.
Thats all I have for now. Anything else you can think of will be a good help. x
