4-Acetoxy-DiPT - First Time - Warm and Fuzzy
So this weekend I was luckily enough to try 4-Acetoxy-DiPT for the first time at 15 mgs. It was at a smallish gathering, and about 8 of my friends would all be dosing with me. A few of which had done it before.
I dosed around 11, which was a little later than everyone else, because I had to spin, and I wanted to be sober. My set went well, so I was in a particularly good mood. I was with a lot of people who I really enjoyed, and overall in a good state of mind to trip.
I washed down the disgusting tasting powder with some orange juice and chilled and smoked a bowl in anticipation. After about five minutes I felt something but I think it was just the weed and me getting excited. We walked back inside and I walked around and talked to people.
The first feelings I got were just me being very social and the urge to smile at everyone. I took 15mgs because Erowid said that was on the light end of the common dose, and I didn’t want to be overwhelmed or incoherent. A few weeks ago I did some 5-MeO-DiPT and my friend who had done both 5-MeO and 4-Acetoxy-DiPT said that they felt somewhat similar but the 4-Acetoxy-DiPT had a much better body buzz, and didn’t have any nasty body load (which I didn’t experience on 5-MeO).
An hour into the experience I was really coming up, and I felt great. The body buzz was very comparable to shrooms at this point. I also noticed it had some empathic (sp)_ qualities much like MDMA does, and I will talk about that in a bit.
I was bouncing all over the small venue the party was at talking to people, and just generally feeling good. This drug and dose was very good for being around people, it wasn’t too crazy or confusing. The really intense mindfuck (like, “oh my god what the fuck is going on” type thing) that I get with acid wasn’t there. There was a “mindfuck” but it was gentler and not at “oh my god, wtf is going on” ahhaa. I like how I describe that… anyway.
The visuals at this point were not too exciting. The OEVs reminded me a lot of foxy. Lines on objects would sorta move out of their rightful lines. If that makes sense. Objects would sorta look doubled.
At About 2 (three hours in) us trippers decided to go our separate ways. My friend T drove me back to my apartment, so we could smoke some pot and listen to music. Smoking pot with 4-Acetoxy-DiPT was really fucking cool. I think pot goes well with any drugs and usually enhances the experience, but wow. With the 4-Acetoxy-DiPT feeling sorta like shrooms the warm body buzz of pot totally complimented it.
Another bowl kicked in my trip even more, and the body buzz was increasing like crazy. Tactile sensations were already really good, but the pot made it that much better. T and I started touching and before long we were in the bedroom, kissing like crazy. Now, people have said the 5-MeO is THE sensual/sexual drug, but this was amazing. Waves of touchy goodness would go over my body when I was touched. And kissing was just fucking cool. I would get lost in a kiss and go off into my own little world of 4-Acetoxy-DiPT and kissing. We lit a candle and just kissed for what seemed like hours. This is when the most intense visuals were present. The OEVs that I got were awesome. Kalidescope patterns that would change with the movement of mine and T’s body. Very electric green colors, and blue as well. Mostly those were the colors. A lot of green though. Which is funny, cause I usually see very cool green closed eye visuals on acid.
T fell asleep after a few hours, but I had some trouble. I was getting some thought loops, again, a lot like acid when I was trying to fall asleep. Nothing too bad, but I kept thinking that I might not come down because it was a research chem. And all that, but nothing bad, and I got over it. I don’t think I finally did fall asleep till 6am or so. I smoked a lot more pot, but it did very little. Kinda like trying to go to sleep after acid. The next day I had a very nice afterglow and no cracked outness.
In conclusion, 4-Acetoxy-DiPT is a very cool drug and is worth trying. The body buzz is great. I am going to try it at 20mgs before too long, and I’ll write up a trip report.
