I had the chance to try 2C-I for the second time this Sunday.
I'll try and follow the format of my inital 2C-I trip report as best as I can.
Setting: My house. Nice and relaxing, but nothing spectacular. I was the only one around.
Mindset: As happy as I've been in quite a while, but also quite sleep deprived. I had slept maybe 10 of the past 100 hours. I had been hallucinating from sleep deprivation earlier in the day, but it seemed to have stopped after a 30 minute nap.
Previous recreational drug usage: AMT, MDMA, MDE, MDA, DXM, 2C-I, LSD, cannibis, kava kava, catnip, horse tranquilizers, alprazolam, clonazepam, ritalin, psuedoephedrine, 5-MeO-DiPT, codiene, diphenhydramine, caffiene, ephedrine, nitrous oxide
10 mg was measured out and insufflated. Burning peaked about 5 minutes after insufflation, and was gone within 20 minutes. At the peak this burning was extremely painful, almost unbearable, but my nose doesn't take much in so it probably wouldn't be as bad for someone who's used to it.
By +:15 My first alert is a building feeling of pressure inside my head. Small visual changes are noticed soon afterwards, mainly flowing patterns of purple and green across the computer screen, and a general fuzziness or static on all object I'm not focusing on.
+:30 I notice a light feeling in my head, the only way I can think of to describe this is that it felt like my brain was weightless. My body is sore from working for over 24 hours straight and running on almost no sleep, but I can feel the tension drift away as my muscles relax.
+:45 Aphrodesiac qualities are noted, an extremely sensual feeling has taken over. I feel like my entire body has been wrapped up in a warm sheet of velvet. Visuals are most definitely on the rise. With the eyes open everything strobes lightly and is overlayed with flowing colors dancing on the edge of perception. Eyes closed I'm treated to a black and white swirling mass which slowly morphs into recognizable scenes: a checkerboard morphs to the outline of a woman's face which morphs to a high rise apartment building which morphs to a subway car moving past. Conversation flows freely, and fortunately I've got someone to talk to for the majority of the night (Thanks Daisy, this wouldn't have been nearly as wonderful if it wasn't for you).
At roughly :55 I decided to take a 6 mg oral supplement in a gelcap. By now the open eye visuals are on par with 1 hit of high powered blotter acid, and breathing and flowing is seen on nearly all textures. Closed eye visuals have changed signifigantly, and are now full color and seem to be dominated by squares and cubes.
This definitely comes in waves, I felt nearly sober at +1:30, but it came back after just a few minutes. I decide to push things all the way this time and take yet another oral supplement, this time 7 mg disolved in water. The taste is slightly bitter, unpleasent, but not particularly bothersome.
By +2 the aphrodesiac effects are as strong as anything I've ever felt. Not nearly as sensual as before, this is pure, primal arousal.
Things slowly built over the next hour and a half until I reached the peak. I still felt incredibly clear mentally. I had a hard time focusing, but I felt like I could almost function normally if I chose to. This is a big change from my inital 2C-I experience which I believe may be related to insufflating a good portion of the dosage. There was a most definite push towards the positive, I had not been this happy in a long time. Not the overwhelming happiness that comes from MDMA, this felt much more natural.
Visuals were some of the most impressive I have ever seen. I've had much more intense visual experiances, but I have never seen things that looked so real. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the light of the computer screen reflecting off of a popcan, but to me it looked like a long alley with a car in it. Extremely realistic and detailed, I could make out the clotheslines hanging between the buildings, the street lamps, the fog in the distance, I could ever hear the car coming slowly towards me. All this happened within 1/4 of a second, and just as quickly as I really focused on it reality snapped back into place.
I saw mimes and clowns walking through the shadows, just black and white outlines walking and dancing there for a split second before they vanished.
Everything appeared to be stretching out, pulling away from me and growing longer all the time. At one point it appeared that my watch, maybe 4" long, was at least a foot in length.
The drop from the peak came around 4 hours after it started, and was very swift. I was still incredibly high, and this level was actually more enjoyable then before. The visuals had diminished greatly, but there was such a wonderful afterglow feeling I didn't care. I would have to say that it wasn't as enjoyable as my best MDMA experiances, but it certainly felt a lot better then the majority of them. I felt extremely in touch with everyone I spoke to, I could share anything. I was a living definition of empathogenesis. Everything just seemed to fall into place. It was much easier to grasp ahold of this and utilize it then with MDMA, I felt like this experiance would be integrated into my life even if I tried to stop it, normally I feel like it's a challenge to bring things back.
A few balloons of nitrous oxide were inhaled, and I was sent into hyperspace. Reality ceased to exist and I was thrown into a realm of pure energy and color. Upon returning to reality my visuals were stronger then anything I have ever seen. Large swirling patters over everything I looked at, I could hardly see through them.
The rest of the experience tapered off slowly and smoothly over the next 4 hours or so, leaving me feeling better then I have ever felt after coming down.
All in all, this would rank as one of the best drug experiences of my life, well within the top 5, probably top 3.
I apologize that this is a poorly written report but honestly words can't even begin to describe the joy and the love that flowed through me. I felt like I had become a beacon of pure, positive energy. The only way that I can describe this that seems to do it justice is heavenly. One of the few things I have ever done that I walked out of and truely felt like I've been changed for life. Highly recommended for anyone who can pick it up.
