Well I thought I'd do a trip report about this interesting little combo I tried on friday. First of all, I am a fairly experienced tripper and have done poly-pyschaedelics before (mainly shrooms and acid) but this experience was still up there as one of my most intense.
At 12pm I had finally gotten my package. A gel cap with 15mg's of 2ce, 6 tabs of fairly good acid and a small jar with cubensis honey. There was around about 2 grams worth of dried cubensis in the honey, and I have to say, it was very potent even for cubensis. at 12:30 I decided to eat the 2ce first as I had never tried 2ce before. I noticed the effects of the 2ce had kicked in nicely at around 1:40 and it was just like a nice smooth eccy with some oright detailed visuals, nothing spectacular, just surface enhancement, much like 2ci. Anyhoo, I was gettin bored of the 2ce a bit, so I chewed on 2 tabs of acid, and then finally went to catch a train to sydney to see my mate to give him 4 tabs as a present.
Now the train trip, I was noticing the power of 2ce more, still nothing amazing, but I was gettin some nice mind and body rushes, and it was nice to just stare at things and talk to ppl on the train. I remember talking to some old lady and her wrinkles were tripping me out, like they looked like they were rippling around really fast. 2/3rds of my train trip later, I noticed things gettin more sparkly and i started to laugh pretty hard while some kid was playing with his toys on the ground, I knew now the acid was kicking in, and this disorientated me for a wee bit. But got my bearings, and off I went, to my mates.
On the way to my mates place, I had the fear in me a bit, dunno why, just had a vibe that something wasn't right. When I finally got off the train and to the petrol station where my mate picks me up, there was a cop there hanging around, and goddamn nearly had a heartattack. Well finally the cop left and I resumed waiting for my mate. When he came, I ran up to him going "jesus christ man, get me out of this fucking place". Anyhow, we drive off, and some nice doof doof music is pumping. I was telling my mate in erratic tones of my experiences on the train, like how a carriage full of ppl with downsyndrome creeped me out and all that. Anyhoo, picked up another friend, got to my mates, wasted no time in emptying the honey and making a mug of tea. Had a few cones while I drank the tea, and in 30 minutes, I was feeling quite relaxed and happy and the edge of the 2ce + acid totally went away.
And then BLAMO!!! Good old waves and ripples and perspective distortion, and it just kept gettin deeper and deeper really fast. One thing I found interesting is that the CEV's had more of a 2ce + acid influence, like a very gridded geometrical explosion. And the oev's were more shroomy, wavey and what not. After 1 hour, I was at a very high peak. Fell to the ground in utter orgasmic pleasure. What I call making love to the cosmos. The visuals were getting more and more intense and psychaedelic. It was like more structured and clear in depth than usual shrooming, I account this due to the chems. I remember at one point, my mates looked disproportionate big time, they looked like the art work out of Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, very reptillian and cartoonish.
Two hours into it, things exploded. Like it was like my vision would seperate into fractals and re-emerge in a morphy shroomy way. But very quickly. Auditory hallucinations and time distortion became a major factor at this point. I was gettin some synaesthesia, like seeing sound and tasting colours. And mushroom loop big time, like seeing my mate pack a cone 3 times or walking around the living room and gettin de ja vu constantly. The auditory hallucinations were cool, hearing astronaught through intercom voices that weren't there, ppl sounding like they are talking through a vocoder, etc.
There was a theme to my trip as well which was pretty cool, I felt like I was in a underwater psychaedelic universe. I was walking around as if I had weights on my legs and under a swimming pool. Using irc was quite amusing for the little time I could use it, I remember the images on the monitor looked like old skool atari gui interface and the fonts were changing into other fonts, like spacey alien fonts at rapid speed. I remember typing out something like "I wish there were fonts like this in real life."
Well, after 4 hours, the shroom effects were dying and it slowly sunk into a more trancey detailed 2ce + acid visuals again, with a hint of shroomy goodness. Just layed out and watched the cieling fan spread colourful fractals around the room.
Overall extremely good experience I had, not the most intense but definately quite amazing for overall psychaedelic overload. I wish I could go into details more about the visuals and the introspective thought, but I am still recovering and there was so much goin on, it would take a forum of it's own to discuss em. So I am keeping a lot of the experience to myself, as I did learn a lot of things about the universal archetypes and the balances of dualisms. My assesment is that the 2ce gave it depth, the lsd gave it amusement, and the shrooms brought it all together and gave it a good powerful psychaedelic experience.
