2015-2016 NCAA College Basketball

Kentucky has a team of quick guards this year. Totally different team, should be fun to watch. That said, fuck those mouth breathers.

Go Vols! Rick Barnes era should be pretty horrible

I've actually been reading some diverging opinions on that subject. Aside from UK, all the talk in the SEC seems to focus on A&M, Vandy, and LSU. However...A guy from bleacher report has Florida in his top 3, due mostly to their depth and gives their new coach a lot of credit for his years at Louisana Tech. My thinking is... It's Florida. They are always going to be a threat.

I'm an Ohio State fan, and it's looking like a 2nd straight rebuilding year. not often the case for Thad Matta. hopefully we are back on track here, soon

Ulis and Murray put on a show last night. Unfortunately Labissiere still looks lazy. If he ever starts playing smart and pays attention to Cal they will be a dangerous team.

But we still wiped the floor with Duke so all is well.
 
UNC finally looking up to standard, been a bit of a stagnant few years from a recruiting stand point and the recruits we do bring in that are huge (barnes, jackson) just arent as good as hoped. this is a veteran team though and i really think they have a shot at it this time

also i think jamal murray's nba stock is overrated. he doesnt look like a starter to me at the next level at all theres too many holes in his game and his body cant make up for it, but he isnt even physically developed so in 6 months he could be completely different.

LSU and Cal are my two must see teams all year...i love the recruiting classes they have. Been tracking Antonio Blakeney for a couple years now on youtube so it'd be really cool to see him keep going and end up in the league, never started following an nba guy that young so itd be unique to watch a kid grow like that. And Jaylen Brown is going to be a fucking monster in the nba mark my words

LSU has had a couple of disappointing losses. I hope they don't let it get to them, because I think they can be a great team too. As big of a UK fan as I am, I want to see the SEC do well. Cal is 4-0 but their non conference schedule is kind of a joke. So we will see on that one.
 
Labissiere needs to grow a pair. Our entire team getting clobbered by UCLA, refs can't be bothered, Lee gets injured first quarter...time for him to step up and....nope. I think he's scored 8 points total in the last two games.

Edit: does anyone watch cbb anymore? Used to be quite a few people here that did. Not sure what changed.
 
Anyone catch that triple overtime KU/OU game last night? I was entertained.

Really? Even after UCLA? I wasn't that surprised. Skal has really been a disappointment for us. Ulis and Murray can't pull the entire team all season. And don't get me wrong, he's not a disappointment because he has underperformed. I'll always stand by UK players as long as they are putting in the effort, but he just doesn't seem to give a shit.

Not only was it the game of the year, but it might be one of the basketball games I have ever seen

Back and forth the whole game through 3 OT

Buddy Hield is incredible. The refs did mess up on the end when he turned it over on the inbound pass... Supposed to give him 3 ft of space... He actually touched him lol

Oh well, still a great game
 
Another UK loss. To Ben Simmons and LSU. We played like a first round NIT team last night.

can't believe LSU can't pull a more winning team around him?

players like Simmons allow me to watch college basketball - sadly, I think it's frighteningly boring every year I live on this planet. I just can't stomach NCAA as much as I can the NBA. NCAA is lucky to have a genius system in March Madness, or I'd never, ever, watch
 
Big 12 is stacked this year, wouldnt be surprised to see more than half their league in the tournament. actually Ill guarantee more than half their league gets in , Ok St MAYBE if they can beat anyone good.

Ive watched two games so far this year, Villanova vs Xavier (nova just rolled on xavier, not sure why I watched that. xavier is the worst 5th ranked team ive ever seen but come tourny time theyre alright)

and today Texas vs Kansas. Not sure how to feel about this kansas team, they have a bunch of athletic 2s and 3s but kind of streaky 3 point shooting. I think they only missed one free throw vs Texas today out of like 24 attempts so thats good.

just because I still like watching it, and to follow up on the free throws being important point



oregon is 16-4, whos my favorite player in college bball right now you ask?
