Fairly new to rave scene, been to 2 raves, and 2 dubstep shows, first massive is coming up, just curious, what is it like at these huge events, I rolled about 4 times each has been better than the last, and when I did at a small rave it was so much fun, at this next event my favorite dj is going to be there and I'm so excited to see him, so I just wanted to know what it's like being at a massive and seeing your favorite djs perform:D

The crowd is MASSIVE. Sometimes a little tooo massive. It can be very overwhelming because kids are often exercising poor judgement tripping over each other.

You will find that you will get out of raves exactly what you put into them-
-Good energy :D

Put out positive vibes NO MATTER WHAT and you will have a great time. If you start getting angry or frustrated then thats exactly how you will feel.

Have fun and enjoy this fresh new experience. I think you will have an excellent time. Just remember not to push yourself to the limit and be polite as you can.
 
It's just amazing. I get really anxious and stressed out because of the lines, but once I'm inside I'm extremely happy and relaxed. I think you're going to love it.
It might be too crowded, but that really won't matter when you're there. Just make the best out of every situation.
 
Is your "first massive" that big event at the end of June???

As for the size, and number of people, I peak off it. My favorite place to be while rolling (other than with my girl) is surrounded by thousands of people, all moving together in unison.

Its awesome
 
Would massives and festivals be pretty much the same thing? Heard of most massives on the west coast, just festivals on the east.

yes that sounds corrcect. nocturnal or EDC would be a "cali massive" Starscape would be "festival". Although to me a "festival" would be like strange creek or gathering of vibes, someting with more of a "jam' element.

Those last two are great example of festivals, but I would also consider stuff like camp bisco, lolla, coachella, and osheaga festivals too. (I know coachella is west coast and lolla isn't really east but both are examples)
 
waiting in line is always the worst part for me. it took me getting past security before i was able to calm down and soak everything in. hope you had a great time!!
 
massives are the best. crowds can be a little overwhelming and your cellphone will more than likely not work, but they are bliss.

especially when your favorite dj comes on. :)
