Did anyone manage to catch the article on excessive pill poppin in the August Face?(madonna on the cover)
What the hell is going on out there?! Stories about kids taking 17-20 pills in one nite at their 21st etc etc. Maybe my tolerance is low cause I don't take e often anymore but it's kinda hard to believe that someone, let alone anyone would or could take that many in one nite.
Help me out here people, am I naive or is this just some sort of freaky shit that's happening in the UK?
Or could it be that their pills are the pits..

man even i think that excesive.Im not a big number muncher,but have witnessed and still do every know and then.People eating up to 12 pills in day/night!
Ive persoanly had 6 in the span of 24 hours once!
Now that ive writen that 17-20 dont sound that crazy appart from it, maybe making you crazy!!!
Going to but the mag now and have a readies!
 
That is fucking ridiculous but believable because of the price of pills in the UK. That is what I call taking it to the EXTREME. Just imagine, I mean, what possible enjoyment could you get from taking 19 fucking pills.
The most pills I've had in one night was 4 and they were all kick ass mdma.On the way home, my friends freaked because my eyes were rolling back in my head and I couldn't speak properly. I've pretty much taken things in moderation since but 19, that is just, fuck, I'm speechless!

Yes thats why it sounds ridiculous. After a certain amount all you notice are the amphetimine like effects. But seriously if this person had 19 quality pills I would have thought that would kill most people? unfortuntely it seems it didnt kill this idiot. Certainly a completely stupid thing to do. So he/she/brainless must have just been taking bunk pills and was flying on placebo.
 
My record was 16 (or 17 I forget) in under 24 hours, on new years eve a few years ago.
Most of them were speed/meth/other based, only maybe 5 or 6 were MDxx based, and I was double/even tripple dropping all night. When you consider that, it's not hard to imagine people taking that many pills.
As for the effect they give after taking that many - well for speed based pills pretty much nothing by the end of the day. We finished off eating 4.5 pills at once (3 speed and 1.5 MDxx) and that only just got us back up to a "nice" level.
Took me a while to recover from that one (physically and finincially!!)

How could anyone take 19. Personally I would take a break after having 4 or 5 in 1 night, but if I ever felt the need of taking any more than say 10 I think I'd kill myself.

people people who the hell needs to take that many pills seriously more than 2 pills a night is plenty think about your health and more importantly your wallet fuckn hell use your brains!

that is what u call uneducated.
what a waste of pills and money. they could have saved about 16 of those pills, and still had an unbelievable night. sum ppl just really do need to learn bout the shit they r taking and how it affects the body, and how it works and so fourth. maybe if that person had learnt a little bout MDMA, they would have realised that the most they needed was bout 4, not fuckin 19, thats just ridiculous.

I guess its all down to responsibiliy, some ppl go over the top (like with drinking) cos they think it's cool or they want to show how hard they are, In perth I've heard of bickie comps and the "winner" or champion had taken 13 in one night, no idea WHAT they were though, prolly speed bombs...
one of my mates thinks a "quiet night" on friday night means 2 pills, i guess when i get to that stage it's time to re assess my life and take a break.
Smacca : I agree completely with you, education is needed, 19 fucking pills.. it's insanity.

i think peakin makes a damm good point...
2 pills (quality pills anyways) should be enuff for anyone in one nite...well unless you have lots of tolerance from popping too often...which is like more then once a week folks!!
i mean not only the cost...but they don't even really know the long term effects of pill munchin yet...you never know what could become a side effect of it when you're MUCH older...
all you really should be taking is enuff to get u thru the nite...not too the excess that you on't know what is reality or not anymore..or the numbness of feelings...
 
hmmm 19 in a night couldnt have all been MDxx probably at least 10 bunks in there if its true even if they were good its pointless taking more than 3-4 in a night as after that they do nothing except make your comedown harsher!
 
didn't see the article bit 17 in a night is just sooooooo wrong.
bit of a worry seeing as its in the uk being an ex pat myself, as for how good the pills are in the uk these days i wouldn't know 'cause i've been here for the last 3 years allthough i recently had the best couple of pills of this year so far and was told it was a two week old mitsi fresh from london
never had more than 5 in a night(12 hours)but on that night a friend of mine ate 12 of the same ones, and i can vouch for the quality. mind you he'd always eat around twice the amount i would on a night out (or in) and be at roughly the same level.
 
the most i've ever had in one night is 2. i had 1+1/2 at GC with a bit of meth and i was absolutely bollocksed (the one was a windmill tho

i think 19 pills would probably last me 6 months.

Had a friend who dumped 18 in one night at a rave in Sydney mid '97. This was in the space of about 24 hours. Of course they were not his. His parents ended up paying his debt and he then spent a few weeks in rehab.
He now has some very bad psychological problems related with depression and the like.
Some people are just dumb.

yeah, that realy is crazy, but if you consider that some pills going around now contain only 20mg. mdma then taking 16 pills in one night would really be like doing four. please, someone, bring back quality E.
