I picked up two 5 ounce bottles of Delsym cough syrup yesterday, which is about 1750mg DXM Polisterex. According to people on Bluelight, 1700mg DXM Polisterex would be equivalent to about 1000mg-1200mg DXM Hbr. It felt A LOT stronger than that to me though. This was only my third Delsym trip, as I've only used DXM HBr products before. The syrup tastes 1000x better than Robitussin syrup, that's for sure. I drank the two bottles quite easily, with little to no nausea. I was a little bit nervous since I didn't know what to expect - I had never done this much DXM before. My previous highest dose was 960mg DXM Hbr, so this would be a lot more than anything I had done before. I wanted to reach the fourth plateau, as the highest I had reached at that point was a high 3rd plateau.
After drinking the syrup, I started to feel slight affects instantly, as usual. After about 30 minutes, I indulged in some Grizzly Mint (tobacco), as this is what I usually do to kickstart my DXM trips. Nicotine always makes me very euphoric during DXM comeups and afterglows, and it seems to get me tripping faster on the comeups. I watched T.V. for about two hours after initially dosing, and then I was ready to trip. Unfortunatly, I can't remember much from the trip. I just remember that it was extremely, extremely intense, much more intense than any other DXM trip I've done. The only thing I remember is that it seemed that there was no gravity, and at one point I felt like I was completely upside down, just floating in the air. It was the most amazing feeling I've ever experienced. Delsym always gets me more dissociated than Robitussin, but it's less of a visual trip than Robitussin also.
I woke up at 8:30 AM the next morning and got ready for school (I initially dosed at 9:30 PM the last night). When I woke up I was still pretty messed up; I couldn't walk straight and everything was blurry and weird. Somehow my eyes weren't too dilated though. I went to school, and fortunatly no one noticed that I was still pretty fucked up. I enjoyed the afterglow, everything just seemed to be in perfect rythmn, and I was very happy. It's now been 24 hours, and I'm finally back to 100% normal again. Overall it was a great experience, I'm definatly a Delsym fan now!
