I'm aware of the Ashton Manual and I get Valium prescribed 12x5mg monthly (funny huh). I have stocked up on approx 700mg Diclazepam as well at 700mg Etizolam. I've tapered at home before, but never this bad. This is something like 70mg xanax a day. I KNOW if I went to detox they would have no idea what clonazolam is and think I meant clonazepam. I'd either be given a couple mg kpins or straight gabapentin and the covid thing is spooky right now. The only way I'm going to detox is if , God forbid I have a seizure.

Can someone help me formulate a plan? Obvious start is find the lowest dose clonaz I'm comfortable without shaking hands etc. When Do I incorporate the etizolam into this and will it help against seizures?

These words are important: Etizolam withdrawal due to metabolites does not start for me until 24 hours. Clonazolam withdrawal starts within 6 or so, like Xanax would. (its odd)

I would think trying lowest safe dose clon each time I feel withdrawal on top of etizolam for breakthrough anxiety and anti-seizure risk. Slowly incorporating diclazepam into the regimen as I drop 0.1-0.25 clonaz each day or third, assuming I can start at 6-10mg. I am thinking about 1 month taper as I've been binging 15+ clon daily for a month now. I'll take the diclaz for an extra month afterwards because they provide no recreational value. Sound like a solid plan? Anyone been this deep can give me direction? It's literally a life or death situation if not done correctly. For once, I wish the guy would have just scammed me like he intended.

I just want advice from experienced severe benzo addicts. I know the obvious answer is professional medical help. I feel that I have enough tapering benzos to do this relatively painless and safely on my own and I accept the risk I am taking on my own accord.

I wake up to 6mg clonazolam. I dose approximately up to 15-20mg clon total until bedtime. Some days and not others I take 2-10mg etizolam but I am not currently dependent on that one.

Hi
Firstly you have got to get a stable amount of Benzos in your blood to taper.
I only had one clonazolam once it put me to sleep.
I am on my 2nd addiction to valium, 29mgs at the moment.
There used to be an equivalency table in the Ashton manual but it did not include designer Benzos.
The best Benzo to taper from is diazepam as it stays in your system longer and makes for a smoother taper.

What are you taking now?

I wouldn't chop and change Benzos.

There is 20mg diazepam in one clonazepam but I don't know how much diazepam is in one clonazolam, Also these online designer Benzos are varying doses.

Withdrawals start at different times due to their half lives.

Diclazepam might have as long a half life as diazepam but as its designer and not Pharma you don't know what you are getting, so its a bit of a dice roll.
I was a severe benzo addict 75mg Diaz at the time, went on it as I Was taking lots of designer Benzos but only clonazolam once.
In the UK we have a charity called Battle Against Tranquilisers, they have a website called batted.org, you could try emailing them, they have dealt with designer benzo users before.
Importantly though, you need to know how much you need to stay stable, then you need to taper from that.
Taper really slowly, take a look at the Ashton manual for guidance but you may have to go slower, as that is quite aggressive.
Best of luck.

I'd try reducing by .5mg a week. If that's too much, try .25mg a week, or even .25mg a fortnight. Go as slowly as is comfortable for you.

0.5 is like 6mg xanax so I'll have to substitute with diclazepam (longer half life than diazepam, similar structure).

I'll probably stabilize on clonazolam and like you said, drop 0.5 a week, equivelant substition addition of diclazepam, slowly dropping that as well, so when I reach 0 clonazolam I can smooth sail the diclazepam. There's simply no fast way to go about this. I've done many rapid tapers of clonaz before, but this time, I took way too much over way too long.

etizolam i'll use sparingly as it has anti-seizure properties and the addiction to that is cake. I'll take one of them if I feel a major panic/shaky hands/ seizure feeling at work or something. I'm very well disciplined in tapering. I've done it alone many times. Pray for me to be safe. Thank s all for advice.

@3dmusic, if 29mg valium is your addiction that is easy to fix and you can stop potentially cold turkey (i am not a doctor). I would assume maybe you meant 20 or 290. 29 is a strange number. if it's 290, you're in for some trouble. if its 20-29, just reduce it by 30% every week and hang at 5mg, 2.5mg, then 0 for awhile and you'll be yourself again in a week or two after being on 0. That's my personal experience. It varies. Thank you for your post. Yes I know the gamble of designer diclazepam but I have confirmed through past taper that this is legitimate and working. its the same batch.

Yeah if you can't sub with Diaz, then I am guessing declaz will have to do but bear in mind that black market Benzos may have differing doses.
Can you do a "crossover" as mentioned in the Ashton Manual?
Please don't use 2 different Benzos at the same time unless you are doing a crossover.
Taking different Benzos will have your GABA system all over the place, possibly injuring it more, not trying to scare you, just wanna warn you to minimise damage.
You will find that addiction to etiz is not cake, if you are already addicted to a much stronger benzo, they are all GABA agonists, so coming off etiz will be difficult, best to use long acting benzo, diazepam from proper official source or clonazepam, again from proper official source.
Again, while not trying to scare you, the more benzo addictions you have, the harder it is to taper, so pls don't mix them and concentrate on getting off these ones you are on now, preferably with proper pharm meds.

While I don't mean to sound condescending, cold turkey off 29mg Diaz is life threatening and a high seizure risk.
I cut to 28mgs yesterday by splitting a white one in half, luckily I am on proper Pharma ones so can avoid black market.
Ashton says 5% - 10% every fortnight but lots of people find this aggressive, and when I say 5% - 10% I don't mean 5% - 10% of the original dose, I mean from the dose you last cut from as the cuts have to get smaller the lower you go so as not to shock your GABA system.
Anyway I wish you luck.
