I have previously taken adderall and ritalin every couple months or so when I have the ability to acquire them I absolutely love taking them at school due to the obvious side effects of increased sociability and concentration. This was my second time taking Vyvanse however and was somewhat new to the come on of the high and the high itself. On the previous occasion one 70mg pill seemed to only get me a good speed buzz for about 1-2 hours so I thought I might as was well take both of the pills I bought this time in order to really get a good tweak going on (lol). So I popped one of the 70's right before I left to school and then one during the middle of my second period (about 2 hours later) in order to make sure that the buzz would last throughout the entire school day. I realize now I probably did not need to take another pill, it was unfortunate I did not have lower dose pills so I could have had a more precise amount as opposed to just doubling my original amount by taking a whole 'nother 70, because after waiting a few more hours after the second pill I realllyyyyyyy started tweaking. This wasn't bad at all I mean I felt fucking amazing, it's just I wasn't trying to do that. I personally enjoy getting to the point in between a tweak and a buzz if that makes any sense, so in this case if I was able to take like 100mg than I would've been completely satisfied.
Anyway, it was a special day in my journalism class (the class I started peaking in) because my friend was doing an article on gun control and was conducting an interview with the school police officer to see what his thoughts were on the matter. I (being unable to resist my urge to connect with everyone and everything around me) immediately sat down and started listening in on the interview, after a little while I began asking my own questions due to my sudden incredibly passionate interest in gun control. After about a half hour of talking the period ended, but being a senior I had the next period off (as well as all my friends in the class who were suddenly taking an interest in this quite heated interview) and me and the few other seniors in the class continued to talk to the cop and started taking the conversation away from gun control and into other controversial subject matter that would be interesting to hear a police officers opinion on (i.e. drugs
)
Upon entering this field, I became very concentrated on seeming like the best do-goody kid I could be (mainly due to the vyvanse, but also taking advantage of the fact that I might be able to get out of sketchy situations at school due to having a special bond with the cop, which I realize now was stupid but oh well I was tweaking pretty damn hard so whatever) and was avid about spilling out my family's history of addiction and how I would totally abstain from all illegal substances because I could see first hand the damage they could do. (Obvi I dont really follow that point of view and IMO, moderation of any substance is completely fine and may even be better than not taking anything to begin with). The cop, upon hearing my whole shpeal, went into all his personal experiences with drugs and it was pretty hilarious having gained the trust of a law enforcement officer while blatantly breaking the law right in front of him enough to hear his own personal experience with the very things he arrested people for. But nonetheless I still kinda gained some respect towards him because he understood where kids were coming from when he caught them smoking weed or whatever, I still think its pretty stupid he enforces and supports the very laws that he himself broke and got away with.
Anyway after this whole convo with him he personally thanked all of us for being such good kids and respecting his views and diligently listening to his life's story. We then all left the room to go home (it had been like 2 hours since we started talking to him, oh the things drugs can do) and I, after getting off campus, began contemplating all that had just happened and if my morals were fucked up and if I should really take into account to what the cop was saying. I was still thinking extremely rapidly and realized how much I had just been tweaking and if everyone had noticed but decided to scrap that thought due to the fact that I had just been face to face with a cop for about 2 hours and he hadn't noticed.
Anyhow, not to keep making this go on any longer because I've already wrote a lot, after the whole thing I kept buzzing with a great euphoria for about another 6 hours. I also felt pretty badass for talking to a cop while really high (although that's stupid I know but i couldn't help it) and was just really thinking about the completely alien POV that had been displayed before me.
After this experience I advise that one should definitely watch their doses with higher milligram pills (not like you've heard that one before) because although the story above was quite fun and interesting to experience it could've turned out pretty bad, especially if I wasn't able to handle the trip and was breaking down in front of the cop or something like that. Now I'll just empty contents of the capsule out (if it doesn't mess with the bio-availability or anything) to save for later if I get high dose pills, and I strongly recommend that one should do this in these situations to avoid getting too high of an amount for your body to handle.
