hello everyone, I've been perscrribed ambien 10mg (zolpidem) for insomnia for about 2 months now. for the most part it is REALLY helpful, especially when comming down from amphetamines (perscribed 70mg).
It just seems to be hit or miss with effectiveness now, I noticed I can't eat for a good 4-5 hours before I plan to take it to get the best results, which is wierd because I'm pretty underweight for a male of my age so usually meds hit me fast and hard.
There has been a few nights where I have taken more than one though, it seems to be one of thoes drugs where once you're in the zone you take more without hesitation or though. I think I have even built up a tolerance, beacuse I didnt take it for 2 nights and when I did take it I noticed barley any effect.
What would be the BEST way to get the most out of my ambien? I heard if I let it dissolve under my togue it absorbs faster and could also be taken after you eat. Considering I just ate 30 or so mins ago, If i take it normally I know there will be no effect at all.
thanks in advance for the help, wish such a lovely drug wasn't so hard to manage
