Have got 5x 10ml Diazepam ampoules on hand, for IV or IM administration.

IM administration of this drug is known to have a slow& erratic uptake, so I want to administer it IV, however I want to avoid using the brachial or bascillic veins on the arms as to avoid being noticed.

Have been told to be careful re: administration of diazepam via IV injection. would you suggest using the saphenous vein near the ankle? or do you have any other ideas.

Cheers =]

Here is the injection megathread. It shall answer all your questions and more.

Feet have lots of bacteria, are hard to reach, and have poor circulation (imagine the veins having to climb all the way up the leg). In other words not the best plan. I'd say carefully hit the elbow pit and if noticed say you gave blood/got it drawn by a doc.
