Does anyone here use 100% vg juice when vaping?
I've been using 50/50 for a bit but I LOVE big vapour clouds and really dislike the throat hit (I use 0 nic)
I've heard people say that it's a lot harder on your coils, but I use a variable voltage battery so I can turn it down to 3.3V which I imagine would be optimal for a thicker juice.

I use a mechanical mod and drip so I use 100% (give or take the amount of PG suspension for the flavoring). I've found that I tend to get a lot of carbon buildup on my coils from 100%vg juice. I can rewick as often as I need though so it's not that big of a problem.

My setup with my favorite juice. Akuma mod with 100%VG 6mg (now down to 3). :)

Very cool machine. What does that taste like, Pinky Milky??

Thanks :) It's quite delicious, Pink Milky is a strawberry milkshake flavor and it divine. Since I don't use a tank (something that holds the liquid) and I drip directly on the coils (you build them yourselves) here is a horribly blurry picture of mine:

When it's dripped on the coils and isn't filtered through a tank you get way more clouds and flavor.

If I were to use anything above 6mg with the amount of vapor dripping produces I would choke to death. :P

What setup are you currently using?

When I first started I used a spinner battery and a protank before moving onto a Provari, and then finally a mechanical mod. The only downside to a mech mod is you need to build your own coils, which is also an upside as the materials to build the coils are dirt cheap (kanthal wire 500ft/$5 and organic cotton balls $3 and they give you many months of rebuilds). The price I was was paying for coils for my tanks were $10-$15/5 and that would last a month if I was lucky. Plus the upside of 10x the vapor :).

I use this one. http://s1067.photobucket.com/user/leegrow/media/vapecig_zpsb90298da.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0

I think it's an Evod, Ego something? My friend told me it was a good starter vape. Whadyou think? It doesn't have like huge vapor production.

That's a nice setup, that's exactly the one I started with. Same ego-twist bottom and same evod-style top :). I used that setup for a while and it worked great, It got me off cigs. I had that one for I think almost a year before upgrading.

My boyfriend works for an ecig distributor so they were a little more into it (the whole crew) than I was, so eventually that's what got me into mechanical mods.

It's a little confusing and can be dangerous with mechanical mods since there is no chip inside it to protect from the battery overheating or coil ohms being too low for the battery to handle. You have to read up and learn quite a bit since you need to build a coil that can work with your battery. The one I have above has rechargeable batteries that you put on what looks similar to a rechargeable AA battery charger, only bigger. I have a couple batteries in rotation. Some batteries have higher amp limits to handle the output. Normally a coil used in the evod style tank you have is around a 2.0-2.5ohm. The coils I build are around 0.2ohms so the batteries need to be able to handle that. It's a lot of complexity and can be dangerous. It does produce a lot of vapor though :). It's become somewhat of a serious hobby of mine.

Leegrow - may wanna delete that 2nd hydro pic as it has Ur name lol...sorry I'm nosey when I see drug pics lol

Anyway I use a variable voltage/wattage battery and an iclear 30s glass tank...been thinking of getting a mechanical mod one for a whilee

Also I have at the moment 5 different brands of ejuice(&prob 50 flavors, it's an addiction in and of itself bc its so novel and tastes so good lol) and none are 100% VG...usually 50/50 or 60/40 pg/vg

Rule of thumb is VG has less flavor/more vapor/thicker; and PG has more flavor/less vapor/thinner. I've found juices that were 100% VG were far too thick to use in tanks. A 50/50 mix is great. I'm not a fan of the taste of PG but I always loved this one brand's flavor called "Lady Blue" it was a blueberry cupcake flavor -- absolutely Divine :).

Must say I prefer clouds too but I believe that's 100% psychological obviously. & my fav flavors are Gilligan's island(pineapple & coconut divinity lol) Ecto Mango(cheap and deliciousss) and fuzion vapor krankberry(cranberry&blue raspberry((I hate both but this tastes fucking amazing)) and blue raz cotton candy

I do think the 50/50 I have now is good, I can produce thick clouds with this anyway, if I got 100%vg I'd likely have to thin it and be back to where I am now haha

Yeah.. if you are using a tank system 100%vg is going to gunk up your atty so quick :\.

If you like big clouds and want to use 100%VG I can point you in the right direction as far as a decent mechanical/safe battery :). You of course would have to learn how to build your own coils and get yourself and ohm checker as well :).

I just rebuilt a new coil last night as I had a 0.25 and I built a .2 that's vaping beautifully :). Fresh coils :3.

To lazy to post pics but I got an infinite stingray mech clone, built it at .5 ohm on my dropper and I absolutely love it. Quit a pack a day habit 3 months ago and now vape exclusively

I've seen that the build for the ecig can get you a TON of smoke. Like the 'mechanical' ones haha my friend hits his and it literally PUSHES the vapor into your throat

Nice! Did you get the 18650 or the 26650? A friend gave me their 26650 (the thicker) stingray clone with a Stillair RDA and it's a beast.

^i just got the 18650 and yah the thing hits like a truck on a fresh batt, currently rockin a dual coil 28g in my TOBH. So much better than smoking cigs.

Nice :), that's such a good setup the Tobh is one of my favs, and fresh batts are always so awesome. I just rebuilt my coils last night so it's hitting fantastic :). I built a 0.2dual coil on 22g Kanthal on my Mutation X. I just got the Mutation X and it's fantastic, so much airflow :).
