Opioids 100 grams of Turkish Dried Poppy pods and a 750mg Codeine tolerance. What to do?

Hi!

I sometimes use codeine. Maybe once or twice a week. I find my good dose to be at around 750mg (I know people say over 400 is the ceiling but for me I find I get more from 750mg)

Codeine is the only opiate I use now apart from H only twice a long time back and trams also a while ago.

Now I've acquired roughly 100 grams of untreated dried turkish poppy pods varying in size from 3 - 7 grams each.

I'm always wary of rules on this site but I know the intention is harm reduction and this is why I'm asking. I'm gonna ingest em anyway, so based on my tolerance I would like to know the best way of going about this taking into account my codeine tolerance.

I heard its best to grind up all of them and mix the powder so you know that the dosage should be somewhat consistent throughout as it varies from pod to pod. Bear in mind these are turkish P.Soms...Could be strong ones as turkey produce a lot of pharmaceuticals from their poppies.

Questions.

- Dosage with my tolerance?
- Anyone used Turkish pods before?
- Is slurry best ie mixed with grapefruit or similar? No wastage or faffing around with tea?
- Any other advice? Safe to store as a powder in a cupboard?
 
Start off with the regular dose suggested by other users; use a quick google search. 750mg isn't that high of a tolerance, and pods alledgedly vary in strength, so it's best to start on a regular/low dose and move up in small amounts from there every 2 hours until you have reached a high.
 
I'm thinking of just chasing it down with juice a couple of grams at a time. I've blended it into the finest powder I could, but obviously some twiggy bits from where it was cut cant be completely pulverised. Is it safe to swallow the twiggy bits? Doubt the body would be able to digest that?

Sounds safe enough, have heard the stems also have some alkaliods. Enjoy.
 
Well, as its been said 750 isnt much of a buildup. As far as the pods go, I hope you got good ones. Alot are very dry, and not strong at all. But caution is for sure your ally here with such a small tolerance. I would take 4 pods break them up into a quart jar with lemon juice and warm to hot water, not boiling. Let it sit. Put a lid on the jar and shake it up every so often. Drain through a screen into a coffee mug with sugar in it to add better taste. If the pods are good and you drink half the cup slowly down over a few minutes you can generally tell how much more you can handle. My best advice is to go slow and get a pleasant medicinal feeling and judge your own tolerance with a preemptive test.
 
I walk out to "said" flower garden, pick the pods off and eat them right off the plant. Ive done this now for years. I do like tea from my dried pods, but this is better. It tastes like chewing your vicoden up like a pro does anyway, the plant matter is completely safe.
 
I definitely think you're on the right track with not making tea. Find a drink you enjoy and mix in the powder perhaps ten grams at a time, and then see how that goes, adding in more as necessary. That's my 2 cents.
 
Right. Well I decided to do a tea. Apparantly it gives a bigger hit and doesn't make you (as) sick! The powder is meant to be longer lasting but notmso intense. My method was:

15 grams blended finely
Left to sit in warm water on the lowest setting for around 45 minutes, never went anywhere near boiling point. Stirred ocassionally.
Sieved out into two cups.
Re washed the old plant material into one further cup to try and get the most out of it.

Total 2 stronger cups, 1 weaker cup.

Drank just one of the stronger cups. 5 minutes and a body buzz all over.
I think I can handle more but I'll drink it slow. Wow its good!
And still (currently) able to function, and do my daily job search etc.
Thinking maybe all the other tea left over could be too much. Hmmm. Im also a bit worried about saving it too, as I don't want to do it tomorrow to keep addiction away, and having a ready made tea could be too tempting. Addiction is the last thing I need.

I have (after de seeding) Prob about 50 grams left. Think all i require is 10g for a strong hit from now maybe even 8g high on much less than that now, so I think I got the good ones! :D

I don't want to do it everyday like I said, but if one were to do that, how long can they expect physical addiction?
Also I chucked the junk after making two batches of tea. Its not worth saving no?
Also why do people moan about the taste so much?! Its not that bad! Eating the gunk think would be a bit much for my stomach though.

Update. The initial intense body buzz has pretty much gone after less than an hour! Pretty disappointed with that, now feels like codeine. I drank one and consumed the others over the next hour and a half. But this didnt't seem to add to the effect of the first initial cup that I downed. Does re dosing work? Is it better to take the whole dose in one go? I'm thinking next time to do that and perhaps even just consume the grounds in with the mix. I prob could have got a lot more out of that 15grams but it was my first time and took it easy. Next time I reckon 10-15 swallowed whole, bits and all. Now feel like im just coming down from a codeine dose, didn't even seem to last as long as that!

I don't mind the taste of the tea, can I ask you guys - is it just the taste that makes you vomit? Or does the plant material react badly in the stomach? I don't feel nautious at all from the tea, fine in fact. Just want it to last longer and be stronger! Seeing some people getting 12 hours out it, i can't get my head around it. Do you guys feel that initial strong body buzz consistently for a long while? Advice please!

Ive got 10g prepared in a slurry which I want to ingest tonight, so need some advice quick please!
Is this a safe dosage? I consumed 15g in a tea, double washed but didn't eat the grounds and i was fine, was good body buzz feeling but only for 30-60 mins. underwhelmed to say the least! It may be because I didn't drink it all at once, but over 2 hours.

So as I'm consuming all I've reduced the dosage to 10g. Will it be ok? Will the material make me sick? The tea didn't at all.

Pod tea usually lasted me a good while. I've drank it around 6 PM, tossed and turned all night wired and itching and still felt it slightly until noon the next day. I didn't have a tolerance then and used 2 medium sized pods. Those were the days, cheap potent pods and no tolerance.
