Fellow bluelighters,

I have recently received a shit load of diazepam cause a friend of mine went to Portugal and they sell that shit OTC like it's candy.
Since monday the 10th I have consumed rougly about 1000mg of valium. (So that's within 10 days) I believe I have an unbelievable high tolerance for benzo's even though I rarely and i really do mean rarerly use them. Probably used like 200mg's of diazepam in the last couple of years. Do have a massive alcohol tolerance though.

Is this kind of usage enough for withdrawal to kick in? Since diazepam has got such a long half-life, how long would it take to kick in?
I've got 190mg of diazepam left. Is it recommended to taper of with what I got or should I be fine since I consumed it all in a very short period of time.

Input would be very much appreciated :D

Oke cheers, I think I will try to taper with 90mg. 10mg everyday if needed. So I can use the other 100mg for shitty comedowns or alike
And thanks for the advice btw, I see how I'll go

Smoke copious amounts of weed ull be fine. Been there got the t-shirt it aint to shabby. Smoke weed! Free the withdrawal release it to the weed gods! (srs) Assuming your in the U.S.A get it scripted! Lol

No is the short answer to your question. Tolerance and to and dependence upon benzos takes time, weeks or months or years of slowly increasing dose and constantly using. At most you'll have an acute "rebound" hangover thing. Upon one of my trips to the nut-house, I was scripted 5mg everyday of Clonazepam for about 2 weeks, having been on ZERO before my stay (obviously this was due to my dishonesty, doctors don't do shit like that usually.) I was worried as well, that I might have a little bit of W/D. Like I said, I felt a little shaky and maybe a little nervous, but nothing crazy.

yeah, ten days will cause not physical withdrawal symptoms, regardless of the dose, but a few rather unpleasant rebound symptoms like heightened anxiety and insomnia are fairly probable.
