Although I'm sure your comment was tongue-in-cheek, for the purpose of argument it is an unfair compairison.

Ed Wood made bad movies, and he is remembered thusly. The Wachowskis made GOOD movies.

Besides, Ed Wood was a TRANSVESTITE, not a transexual. There is a difference.

Maybe if Ed Wood had embraced his feminine side a little more and made the leap to post-op, his movies would have been better.
