I've often wondered why embedded videos get broken when a thread becomes archived.
Take for example this page: http://www.bluelight.org/vb/threads/768997-What-are-you-listening-to-House-Music-is-Dead-series
The links that are embedded using the [video] tags are converted to a tag with its text showing as the c...27"][img]http://i.imgur.com/z8TmPwn.png[/img]
^ The 1st link is a regular URL link with the title of the youtube video (ok)
The 2nd link is what appears to the embedded youtube videos once a thread is archived.
Is this a remnant of earlier practices on saving bandwidth, or has this never been a concern?
