Dealing with some stress, I ate some cannabis gummies. I ate twice what I usually take. After it had kicked in for a awhile, I started getting very cold. I put the furnace on, even though it's above 80°F outside. I got into bed shivering. I got worried something was wrong with me, but I wondered if the cannabis could be doing this. So I googled it. Up came a bunch of articles explaining that cannabis can cause chills. Apparently, it's a pretty well-known thing.
Has anyone else heard of this, or experienced it? I've been using these gummies for a few years. I can't remember this ever happening before. From what I saw online, weed can drop your blood pressure, which can reduce blood flow to your extremities, leading to you feeling cold. I wonder if a person on blood pressure medicine might drop too low, if they used weed on top of the BP medication.
