I don't think any of that about you. (biased, etc). I know you're not, just saying, general blanket statements can sometimes come off that way. No offense taken. :D

Btw- just made a super yummy smoothie with: fresh pineapple, blueberries, a plum and an avacado. Yum!

there is research that says the chemicals they give vegetables to speed up the growth process may be robbing them of nutritional content.

that should give people some pause.

sure tehy may lose some of their overall nutrional content, but not as much over content that will be gained by the shear size and speed it grow at,

but ont he subject of adbvacado, i am using it right now to nurse my stomach back to health, feels kinda good by my stomach still burns right now

big shout to avocado. it is the biggest agricultural crop in my neighboring city and they harvest it fresh year round :D

Also, fruits and veggies grown naturally out of compost or other "organic" fertilizers have a higher concentration of both micro-nutrients and phytochemicals than "conventionally" grown crops. This indeed makes them healthier. Another plus....you aren't ingesting poisons chemicals and know carcinogens.

Man I want some avocado. NOW. NOW. NOW. No chips.
Just super spicy guacamole goodness.

avocados are what i used to replace cheese when i went vegan, since they have similar enzymes and fats and awesomeness.

mmmmm avocado. the only place where that didn't work was pizza, and daiya cheeze seems to work well for that.

not a vegetarian blog by any means, but has a shit ton of amazing easy vegetarian (and adaptable to vegan) and gluten free recipes !!!!!

including one for Shaved Asparagus Pizza, which is what i thought of when we started talking pizzas.

MMm! I want to try using rice tortillas and avacado to make "enchiladas". Since I can't tolerate corn OR dairy, I really miss enchiladas, quesadillas, etc.
