The statement "Everybody respects America now" after stong arming a couple minor countries is based on the thought that we have an adversarial relationship with the entire world. Foreign policy is a poker game where everybody's cheating, it's a competition, but a totally adversarial attitude will bite you in the ass eventually. You need allies occasionally as well. Friends may come and friends may go... but enemies accumulate.

I am long term pain patient and doctors are too scared to give me a little more because after 8 years+ My tolerance has grown and I am only on 1/8 of what medical literature says is the maximum I should take.

This isn't really what the thread is about, and you might be too far gone to bring back, but Trump is tearing down all of America's current government (the America you/his followers claim to love) and replacing it with a literal fascist regime. Please look up the definition of fascist before you respond to this. You will find that it means to superimpose your nationalism on another nation (what he is trying to do to Greenland and Canada). He furthermore, is not a rich man, but behind closed doors, deep in debt.

I'm not sure Trump's policies can necessarily be directly blamed for this plane/helicopter crash, as it's been such a short time since he froze this hiring, but what I will say, is that there are absolutely consequences to this type of gutting of the federal infrastructure. Exhibit A being planes falling out of the sky right next door killing dozens of people.

"Let's save money on taxes by removing all of the unnecessary federal employees!" - is a nice thought but it's not realistic. Doing massive hiring freezes and leaving needed positions vacant, will cause a crazy amount of chaos in the interim, and it's going to be at the expense of people's lives.

Not to mention he's already discussing using Guantanamo Bay to house migrants.

It's funny the amount of conspiracies that popped up during the last few years of Obama's term regarding people being thrown in FEMA camps, etc. Now that this is actually starting to happen, the same people spreading fear about the possibility of that, don't give a shit, because "well they committed a crime".

It's not just criminals and gang members that will be effected by mass deportation, for every violent criminal that's deported, a dozen regular working people are going to have their lives destroyed. People are going to be terrorized over these policies, whether they are documented or not.

They are already terrorizing families and small children in northern Virginia, harassing people in their apartment complexes. It's disgusting.

i'm not either. and if it's unclear, i am not saying that. the investigation has barely begin and he's already looking to play politics with a tragedy and start the blame game..

maybe he should listen to this guy?
