Then have independent labs compete to have analysis on products with americans choosing who to believe based on thinking things through.
Not blindly obey the monopoly the FDA has.

Yes Americas are going to digest analytical data like mass spectrometry etc and research the different compounds biological effects ; in their spare time after waiting tables for 12 hours with their 10-16th world ranked high school science education.

Do you think pharmaceutical companies corrupt things for profit? These private labs and private FDA you’re proposing will do the same thing as pharma.

I understand the overlap between people being employed back and forth; but FDA and pharma are in the same wheelhouse so ppl with expertise in one are going to have the expertise to fit into the other. Maybe make laws saying you can’t work for pharma for X years after being in the FDA. Just like Congress shouldn’t be able to instantly go work for companies that lobbied them

I don’t really get your point. 99.9% of Americans cannot read nor l analytical chemistry.

Besides, you need a background in biolology or a related field on top it that to even understand the implications of X chemical being ingested.

Nobody has both of those skill sets in America except for maybe several thousand people.
 
The ions institute has the tools to teach average joe chemistry.
The US government has been blocking my technologies for 15 years.
A huge disconnect between what it takes to survive, i.e. make money.
and being smart enough to navigate the crowd.

The food will get more expensive. Lots of those chemicals are preservatives. So don’t bitch about grocery prices going higher.

The rest of those chemicals make the taste better/make the food more addictive.

If we learned anything from the war on drugs is that banning shit simply result in the black market filling the void. Get ready for captain crunch by the cartel with all the same plus chemicals plus fentanyl.

In a free society people should have bodily autonomy and that means freedom to destroy one’s body via addiction to drugs or unhealthy food…I thought that was something that drug users would all agree on but I guess not

ppl don't know what they're eating - they don't believe that the government would allow such harmful ingredients to be added to the foods they feed to kids

If ppl don’t know what they are eating that is on them. It says all the ingredients on the label. There are options that don’t have all that bullshit in them.

I’m a bit more concerned about all our buildings being built out of carcinogens. I’m CA they put a nice little sign or label on your drywall that tells you your home is made of carcinogens. But there aren’t options that don’t unless you make a house out of trees yourself which most ppl don’t have the means or skill to do

I can’t think of an example of black market food because food hasn’t been banned much in history.

Look at what happened oceana with cigarettes. They made them so expensive now they get black market cigs from Asia with god knows what in them.

Hence the warnings about consuming too much of certain pelagic fish due to their high mercury content. RFK himself has acknowledged that he has brain damage from eating too much metal containing fish (against the recommendation of the FDA he seeks to control)…then he also has brain damage from the worm eating his brain (also fish).

Also does steroids and T. God knows what other drugs but he’s likely one of us if you get what I’m saying. Great person to control the food and drug supply. Zero scientific or medical background. He’s a moron and a horrible choice by the science hating Republican Party.

Elemental analysis in food would show carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen. the rest are harder to detect. Atomic asorption, or it's bastard cousin, ICP, would get trace metals.
 
While I think RFK jr is missing too many braincells from the worms that played Pacman inside his brain, I'm actually pretty interested in what he will do with his SEVEN appointed offices.

I'm willing to bet he will end up being the only person in Trump's administration that I don't end up hating.
