2024 US Presidential Election

I do not condone flippant shootings or random violence in any way, and it's frustrating that I feel the need to preface what I'm about to say with that but quite honestly Trump being shot at is one of the funniest fucking things I've heard all day. Anyone who cannot see the immense, tragic absurdity, and irony, in this event... god help you.

It's not 1955. People can easily produce guns now at home. The only thing "gun control" would achieve these days is to take away guns from law abiding citizens that criminals would still have, which could be argued is actually the point. Look at how it already is now, criminals still have full auto glocks even tho full auto guns were restricted by law already

Not that I advocate murder, but if that person was successful it would have saved alot of Ukrainian lives.

I wonder how things would actually play out had they been successful? Who would have run in his place? What party would have control of the Whitehouse in 2025? Who knows.

Tell you this, all those nfts and trading cards I invested in would have shot up in value (from 1/4th what I paid for them to 1/2 what i paid)
 
Yeah maybe the wording should have read, "help save Ukrainian territory/sovereignty", since arming Ukraine technically costs lives

Really depressing normally me and my wife just vote for the Democrats and Labour in the UK but Biden should not be running and Harris is a cunt someone has to come in otherwise I think trump will win .
Politics is fixed the supreme Court seems to have a bias now . The left have now got a cancel culture if someone voices their opinion. Look at the two choices we got its just shit . Biden has to drop out because otherwise its a trump win

Yeah I agree. This whole scenario and the way it played out is going to bolster Trump's support and supporters on an emotional level if not on the level of rational and logical thought. This seems to make up a good proportion of Trump's supporters.

He once said that he could shoot someone in the middle on 5th Avenue and people would still vote for him. He does seem to have the unthinking support of some of his supporters.

With all these factors combined, along with the incredibly weak opponent, Trump's odds of winning must have now gone up.

^agreed You can legally own a napalm compatible flamethrower with no FFL. Blackpowder guns ship with no FFL. There is the whole 80 / 20 upper lower jig kit trick, you can 3d print them; and they have always been available on the streets like everywhere.

ppl been makin zip guns for quite awhile. Idk if you want a gun and are willing to break the law having one, you'll have one.
