you are right, it is polluted. therefore the UN can't let anyone live there. next to the polluted sea that would kill them. they can all be displaced now for their own safety from the sea.

Solid waste in general is being dumped in the Mediterranean and you're right it is everywhere but incredibly highly concentrated there. You're also right that it isn't the biggest issue they face but one of many like not having water to drink

I agree Crowder is cringe af especially his attempts at comedy. At least HBO has the cash to hire better writers for Oliver. He is also an idiot who made his career off debating dim witted 18 year olds. Terrible husband and father, all around piece of shit.

That being said, Oliver brought absolutely nothing new to the conversation at all. He took the standard acceptable position. All of his videos are made to be viral/shareable. Americans love him because his accent conveys such authority and thoughtfulness -- that mixed with dry witty humor -- he is the spiritual successor to John Stewart and has been ever since he left the Daily Show.

So honestly it is silly to make a comparison between the videos... both are equally off putting for completely different reasons.
