Fair enough but what are you then? Trudeau is a total cunt indeed. There are people sleeping in tents in parks here to and there are homeless people everywhere downtown now. These are a result of the neo liberal policies that both the liberals and conservatives go by.

Communists dont want a dictator we want a dictatorship of the proletariat. Theres a big difference

I don't think cis is a slur, but it's part of the trappings of an ideology of victimisation that I personally want no part of. Semantically, it is redundant but the reason people want it used is out of this idea that trans people are constantly marginalised and "othered" and one way to rectify this is to "other" everyone. Now we all get to be referred to with generalisations, yay what a victory.

again, my personal issue is with people like musk outright banning it on twitter while allowing the bullying/ harrassment of trans people. it's worse than a double standard, it's billionaire sanctioned/ perpetrated, popular public forum- wide transphobia. it's stomping on a minority by a dude that has never been able to feel marginalized and never will.

Agreed.

School is about reading, writing, math, etc. It's not indoctrination of certain ways of thinking.

I don't think a 5-year-old needs to know any more about trans people than they would need to know about sickle cell anemia.

We have reached a time, at least in the united states, where a person can't disagree with wokeness, or they will be canceled. This may be one of the last places to express an opinion.

I've lost count of the number of videos I've seen of parents speaking at a school board meeting, reading passages from a book that they took from the school library, and were silenced and told to be quiet by the officials there because the language they were using (which often involves graphic depictions of homosexual sex) was inappropriate. Too graphic for adults, but completely acceptable for schoolchildren. This is just one of the many reasons why an increasing number of parents are pulling their kids out of the public school/indoctrination system.
