I'm a left-leaning moderate/centrists and the TRAs have completely alienated me to the point that I find myself agreeing with right wingers. I am so turned off and don't want to support them anymore.

I agree with somebody else in this thread who said these first world social media virtue signalers are bored and creating drama over nothing. Problem is, they're destroying decades of real civil rights activism in the process.

So is exposing children to the genitalia of in-person performers.

So is doing performances that are traditionally meant for adults only, even if they are so-called "modified".

I think the left focusing so much on getting access to children is really bad optics. Even if the intentions are benign, it signals suspicion.

I think it's a bigger deal than that. Calgary just banned protesting within a certain distance of facilities specifically because people were protestor drag story hour at the library.

It's getting crazy. People are upset that their children are being exposed to this. It doesn't even matter if the story hour is tame because that same drag queen will do adult night club performances. They are a role model for children who have easy access to the internet.

Drag queens are not role models. They're adult entertainers. They're not suitable mentors for children.
