I don’t know if you’ll recover 100% or not, you won’t know for months and months. No point in posting your weekly updates. Nothing will change. What are you diagnosed with? Chances are you’re probably going to have to go on another antipsychotic and it’s going to have a list of side effects you’re going to have to deal with so. Best to try them out and get on something you can tolerate at least.
Why would I go on another anti psychotic? They all have vile side effects

Breathing problems on abilify inj. Seem to decrease at month 2.5... with invega it were about three months

Did this thread turn to shit? Why is it in darkside?
I don't think it has turned to shit, it's pretty similar to the other, older versions of the thread. It just so happens that we have a number of people in the thread who are really struggling with side effects right now.
And it is in The Dark Side because we merged the Mental Health forum in to The Dark Side forum a while back, and therefore all the threads from Mental Health forum were merged in to The Dark Side. We may separate them and reinstate the Mental Health forum again at a later date but for now it no longer exists.

Rebound psychosis month 12
It is very important to mention that not all patients experience this. Please refrain from making statements like this, as it may scare other members in to thinking that they are going to get worse before they get better. Everyone's recovery journey from Invega/Xeplion is different,

I'm going to leave this thread, people are so hopeless and negative
I’m 6 months off and there’s basically no invega left in my system (1.3ng ml) I’m already through the worst of the wds and haven’t gotten rebound psychosis, you got psychosis from sleep deprivation so as long as you make sure not to make that same mistake again you shouldn’t get rebound psychosis, @apsucks used kratom and 4-FMA(chemical in meth), during his recovery he probably would have gotten psychosis not taking APS anyway especially with 4-FMA, @HelpMeInvega received false info from her doctor I’m pretty sure, she’s still on APS even though she doesn’t have to be she had a drug induced psychosis from amphetamines one invega shot would have been more then enough for her and if the psychosis is drug induced she wouldn’t have rebound psychosis.

I would not recommend using THC everyday to help recovery tbh even though it felt great for me it definitely stripped away my motivation I did do a little bit of walking but I skipped the gym yesterday and kind of just watched tv all day eating junk food I’m not saying don’t use THC at all (unless it would cause you psychosis) but id recommend only using it twice a month that’s what I’m doing with every substance I use, even though THC counteracts APS someone who uses THC every day but sits around and eats junk food is gonna recover slower then someone who sober and eats healthy and exercises daily.

The people who don't recover are using other psych meds, or just srris. That's what ruins recovery
^^^ ya exactly and they’re usually the most negative posters too not tryna be rude here but it’s just a fact other psych meds can give you anhedonia ED etc too.

CBD inhibits enzymes that break down invega

Just smoke weed like the other user mentioned but dont drink alcohol
It shuttles invega out the blood brain barrier, plus can act as a very mild mood stabilizer.

Some people can't handle THC, although I'd bet L theanine would fix their issues with the psychoactive effects of marijuana.

CBD can help but I wouldn’t use it until all the invega has left the blood cause it can slow down the metabolism of invega.

Where did you read that about Cannabis?
If that's the case, I'll smoke almost everyday then, smoke my way out of Xeplion.

Have you fully recovered?

Have you fully recovered?
Not only fully but I would say above 100%. In other ways I lost pieces ill never have back.

I only got two injections of invega but did get rearrested after fully recovering from it( took 10 months) and then got injected with abilify.

I literally won't be able to build myself back up again if I get sent to the psychward and get injected again. And honestly, God wouldn't allow it, me getting another chance that is.

You literally can overcome it but you have to treat it like ash from army of darkness with the little gremlin clones

It's littered throughout these threads. Just type p-glycoprotein and different terms for weed. "Thc" "cbd" "marijuana"

Also type in blood brain barrier.

<Please do not recommend the use of illicit drugs as a way to recover from Invega - SMod>

Do what works for you. CBD helped me plus I was taking saint John's wort to shuttle it out.

You can negate the negative side effects of CBD by fasting.

Again, whatever works for you.

Ya that’s exactly how I think I’m gonna be I think I’ll recover 110% because the brain fights back against APS to return to homeostasis so once I fully recover I think I’ll feel better then I did pre invega cause of dopamine sensitivy increasing & not only that but I’m also much healthier now then I was pre invega, Did you use Meth during your recovery? If you did that’s probably why you got injected with abilify.
