So my doctor said it's been a month and 10 days, the invega should be washed out of my system. What kind of bullshit is that? Is it really washed out after only a month? I still feel like shit
Look at this: https://www.educationaldoseillustrator.com/pp1m/schizophrenia/scenario/single-dose-curve-view
+ keep in mind invega sustenna builds up in brain and also alters brain structure, etc. That means even if you have no invega in blood it can still be in brain.
Takes up to 46 weeks to get rid of it fully (that's how this grap says) after that time brain usually starts to recover itself and that can take up to several months or more.
Average recovery is 12months-15months, but it can take up to 2 years, there are rare cases where recovery is above 2 years.

Hold up in there. I'm 45 weeks off and still feel like shit, but its much less intense as it was in beginning. It's something like going from ultra extreme shit to very very very shitty.

@Nina2021 at least you dont have to take invega like some people here.
I never had to take it. It was proposed to me leave early and then my family forced me. But I am truly bad. I really can't tolerate this suffering.. I don't know why it got so bad into me. If I ever don't write probably I committed suicide because of invenga. I'm only at 6 months and no improvement 0 dopamine Can't tolerate life like this

almost 2 years soon holu shit time flies when ur not in bed 24/7 cuz ur poisoned by invega. i honestly believe zoloft had a lot to do with my recovery but who knows it could’ve just been time healing all wounds
Zoloft: that slightly to moderately inhibits the dopamine transporter.

I don't think it is something for me.

I wonder why I am doing so bad. Some people take it for years and are fine. Or 5 months and they answer me to bake cakes and do little things for myself. I can't. I truly can't. This drug has killed me

I think at some point you can start to lose weight by exercise as well. Someone mentioned 7 months before, can't verify though. I have just started walking a lot.. Try to walk and cycle for 2 hours a day. I have lost the first bits of weight already.
-> omega 3, next to eating fish three times a week I'm going to try fish oil. Think your brain can use this very well, not the least because of antipsychotics making your brain shrink.

Eating less, drinking lots of water.

I'm taking up the commitment to make myself a tea every time I'm in for an alcoholic drink at night.
Some months ago I could only get some dopamine from alcohol, I'm lucky to get some dopamine by walking now.

The antidepressant I've been using improves sleep as well (escitalopram).. Might work for you!
Keep in mind AD's need time to take effect.

It says in Wikipedia "Common side effects include trouble sleeping"

I am not depressed I just have zero dopamine. It took it all and I can't live like this

Hey, have you tried Trazodone?
It’s an antidepressant but is used as a sleep med as well. It does require a prescription though.
Trazodone, Benadryl, melatonin and zzzquil usually do the trick for me.

I think it was you who asked about mirtazapine? I haven't tried mirtazapine but I know that it is very commonly used for people who have trouble sleeping. My father has been on it for many years and he swears by it.
I know you say you're not depressed but antidepressants have other uses than just for depression. Perhaps you could try mirtazapine? You will know within a few days if it's going to help you sleep.

Just to let everyone know that I was on Palperidone (invega) 100mg injection for 7 months and I have been off of it for 3.5 months and I have know started to realise my former self. Thinking, erection and some emotions are slowly returning. I not fully recovered yet each case is different in terms of timeline. But I am feeling much better. Just hang in there, I know what it is like being a former zombie, but you do get better.

Yes of course you are "much better" because you were at absolute 0% of dopamne/serotonine/etc for 7 months and now you are probably at 3%-10% so thats x3-x10 improvement and that is much (but not actualy). Every month you get very small amount of your "former self" and we are talking about less than 5% per month. It's hard to notice changes.
I am probably at around 35% at 11.3 months off which still makes me severely anhedonic. Its hard to tell percentages.

I think he is lucky if at 3.5 months notices improvement, besides my akatisia nothing else has improved I am at 0 dopamine. Serotonine maybe it's too high and that's why I can't sleep. At least this monsters of JansJ should tell what do they exactly plan to do so to reverse its easier

At 3.5 he is a former zombie. At 6 I am still a zombie

My eternal question: do you sleep?

Do any of you work? Im one month off meds and i work at a postal service plant 2-3 days a week. 6 hours a day. Its a pretty easy job but boring and i have to stand all day which is kinda hard cause i have low energy.

Anyone else on meds or off meds and not recovered but working?

C'mon, man. There is no reason to pick apart this person's post and try to minimalize their feelings of improvement. Why can't you take what they say at face value? They admitted they are not fully recovered and acknowledged that each case is different with a different timeline. Like you said, it's hard to tell percentages and I think your attempt at quantifying what another person feels doesn't help anyone in this thread. If you have more questions for this person then ask them. But please stop making huge assumptions on a very subjective experience. Thanks.
