Elon Musk officially buys Twitter, DONE DEAL !

This is new

FSfljT5X0AAS48L

The non-highlighted part isn't new
Got it.

While I have everyone's attention, I would like to point out that DJT's instigating an insurrection and attempted coup to disrupt the transition of power was unlawful conduct, as stated in the non-highlighted paragraph. So how can Musk say he is "defending freedom of speech" by coming out and stating he wants DJT back on Twitter while at the same time the latter was banned for violating the User Agreement? Someone should tell Musk that "unlawful conduct" Is not covered under the First Amendment.

I was legitimately surprised when I read that Trump explicitly said that he would not be returning to Twitter, and that he would be focusing his efforts on "Truth Social" (lol)

If he actually is able to come back, he will. He can't resist Twitter, we all know it. Twitter is like a big well done steak smothered in ketchup to him. Or a taco salad. Or a hamburder. Irresistible.

Florida has managed to avoid subversion, but it takes strong anti establishment leaders like desantis to push back against globohomo in any sort of meaningful way. It’s not hard to find all of the specific reasons why these books are being rejected. They Infuse their creepy gender/sexual marxist ideology into the curriculum. All they can do is try and censor and deflect from how obvious it is Imo. The Libsofticktock account only reposts videos of these people proving everything that’s being said. This is why they had to ban it. The censorship and propaganda ‘explainers‘ only work on the folx already indoctrinated though.

I don't think that you can have a principled stand against censorship and for freedom of speech, while simultaneously praising a "strong" leader's fight against "subversion". That makes it seem like you only support freedom of speech when it's stuff you like, basically.

Also, you critique "the establishment"'s quislings and libtard apologists for having the wool pulled over their eyes, essentially, and believing everything that the media (whether traditional or alternative) spoon-feeds them, but then you say that someone like DeSantis is "antiestablishment". Based on what, though? His public statements and rhetoric? A look at the actual policies of his administration reveals a state government which has rewarded Florida's wealthiest corporations with billions in tax credits

During the 2018 Regular Session, in an attempt to reduce the additional Corporate Income Tax revenue that Florida would receive as a result to changes made in the TCJA, the Legislature created section 220.1105, F.S. This section compares Florida’s estimated revenues prior to the TCJA with actual receipts after the TCJA and requires excess revenues to be refunded to eligible corporate taxpayers. Section 220.1105, F.S. also requires a proportionate automatic downward adjustment of the corporate income tax rate, and this process was in effect in fiscal years 2018- 2019 through 2020-2021.

For Fiscal Year 2018-2019, this process resulted in a refund of $543.2 million, which was paid in May 2020, and a tax rate reduction from the historic corporate income tax rate of 5.5 percent to 4.458 percent. For Fiscal Year 2019-2020, this process did not result in any additional refunds or rate reduction, and for Fiscal Year 2020-2021, this process resulted in an additional refund of $623.9 million, which is scheduled to be paid in April 2022, along with a tax rate reduction from the temporary rate of 4.458 percent to 3.535 percent. The temporary 3.535 percent tax rate expired on December 31, 2021; taxable years that begin on or after January 1, 2022, are now subject again to the 5.5 percent corporate income tax rate.

If I was "the establishment", I'd be liking that deal

The conflict with Disney is a perfect encapsulation of DeSantis' kabuki theater...throwing some red meat to his supporters while Disney's half a billion dollar tax break remains in-place (as of late April...maybe the situation has changed since?)

Wall Street doesn't seem to have a problem with DeSantis at all:

A fifth of the $55 million that DeSantis, R-Fla. has raised this year came from hedge-fund billionaires, private-equity bankers, investment managers, and other finance industry donors, Bloomberg reported Tuesday . . . Florida Division of Elections records showed that DeSantis has received contributions from superrich donors in finance. They include Citadel's billionaire owner Ken Griffin, who donated $5 million to DeSantis' PAC; Tudor Management’s Paul Tudor Jones II, who contributed $400,000; and buyout pioneer John Childs, who gave $250,000.

Add to that list of plutocrats Sheldon Adelson, a DeSantis supporter and underwriter

So...how is DeSantis "antiestablishment"? Or is it simply a matter of, he irritates people I don't like and triggers the libs?

lolz. I saw that this morning on reddit and screenshotted it to my memes folder with the intention of posting here later. You beat me to the punch :ROFLMAO:
I suspect it might be some sort of sarcastic troll tweet, unsure. If it is, just circles back to why I hated Elon in the first place before this Twitter deal.

Sophomoric tweets attempting to be relatable and get people to like him while he takes a shit on his diamond encrusted gold toilet in the back of his helicopter on the way to his trillion dollar yacht.

Conflating free speech with this creepy gender and race based ideology being curriculum for third grade and under is a bridge too far, possibly not in the mind of a radlib though.
Desantis is literally the only person in power to stand up to corporations and the federal government pushing their creepy ass ideology. Whether that’s stopping them flying in illegals in the early hours of the morning or penalizing Disney for using its platform to push Marxist gender/race based ideology, when their deal with the state was to remain non political. You guys support the establishment in every way, and are reacting to his moves to counter them and their power structure. I think establishment liberals get confused since the establishment was right wing back in the 90s and early 2000s even.

Tell me something xenophobic and homophobic without using those words... Oh, good job that was quick.

Being a compassionate and tolerant human being is not some sort of dick sucking of the "establishment".

Cool manifesto bro.

This is decent cope. An emotional response is typical for the folx that follow this ideology. I’m only being blunt at the hope that any moderates reading this awaken.

Sooooo.... $TWTR -20% and $TSLA -30% since this whole shabbang started?
Fuckin laughing out loud.

This is a genius at work!
Don't worry he's the average American capitalist and is moving his tesla factories to work off Chinese prison labor to increase his profits while stripping jobs from Americans (half joking, but not really)

$TWTR at this price could be a pretty good play if it really does get bought for $54.20 by October. +$16 on $38 invested is a pretty good return for 5 months time
