Grown men and women standing on the street holding signs and yelling stuff is embarrassing. I know someone personally who was high up on the organizational ladder of those protests before covid when they were shutting down traffic in the CBD in the name of climate change. He flew across the country to attend them. I assume he offset the miles (because he's a virtue signaling douche bag) but still... Hopefully next time there's another climate rally at the airport when he's trying to get back home.

We have a new fun filled issue happening in Canada.

If you have received 2 vaccines you are not eligible for a covid test due to supply issues. If you are unvaxinated or in a few risk categories or a front line worker you can be. The result now, only unvaxinated are testing positive so all numbers are much more pointlessly skewed.

This will blur reality to keep these mandated restrictions floating for a very short additional period. Already my discord feeds are full of real life issues where the mother is sick but can't qualify for a test while her child is in a super high risk group and she might kill him, or this might be a sniffle.

Watch this number fudging cause mandates to hold longer and thousands more jobs to end and lives to be ruined.

Imagine if instead of spending billions on vaccines with at best dodgy results we had invested that money into expanding our Healthcare infrastructure with more hospitals, more workers and better equipment. What if we rallied around permanent change instead of wishful thinking and a stop gap measure for a virus we barely understood yet.

I DEFINITELY don't think it's possible that CNN is doing that lol. Have you ever had the misfortune of actually viewing CNN's programming? From what little I've seen of it, while stuck in airport terminals lol, I hardly think that they're playing 4d Machiavellian chess with the anti-vaxxers...

South Africa daily deaths back to pre-omicron levels, while daily cases are still ~10x higher. Seems like a good sign.

Please, CNN wishes they were gay, at least then it would be news we would pay attention to not a predictable boring event.

Maybe call CNN "church 60 years ago". Predictable news, never really good and it will cost me regardless of my personal wishes.

I am not offended but who do you know that's 🥳 gay that honestly reminds you of 😴 CNN? Some of us older guys are a bit held back but still cnn? Really? Maybe I'm offended but I'm gay so that just means we need to step our game up.

I will pass this comparison onward and see if we can recover some face.
 
I remember a time when gay just ment “silly”, was never a insult to homosexuals when we where in highschool, but I can see how some might take offense, but it is one of those words with multiple meanings , like how it can mean happy
