Covid-19 The New Covid Megathread v.Oh-my-cron!

Speaking fully from longterm personal experience of many hundreds of all types of infection, Covid is the only single one I have actually appeared to acquire any lasting immunity to.

All the standard viruses and bacteria I am so accustomed to can reinfect with simple exposure, same playing field, variable immune efficiency each time, every second actually.

Lol that's hilarious, yeah I probably have it. I have had night sweats for years til I quit drinking 6 years ago and they slowly stopped. But yeah I just woke up dripping like sleeping me had been doing some water sports.

I can see how this is easy to spread. I'll see if I can get a test kit delivered. Right now on a scale of 1-10 this is a 1. I have full symptoms but they are all so mild. Guess I will see how fast natural immunity works. I am producing a bit of excess mucus and sneezing so I'd guess 100% contagious, certainly today. My husband never got Covid from me despite living in the house with me so now we get to see if he gets this. He is Taiwanese, his coment is "what did Fauci expect? If asian people worked on it, of course I'm immune..."
If you ever do a test, do not put that sharp abrasive metal bristled brush into your delicate nasal cavities.

It shreds them up like butcher's meat.

Use a spoon or something, collect saliva from inside nose, mouth, transfer to swab.

It works identically re detection. (Like, still an equal lucky random gamble anyway, accuracy of result wise lol, IMO)

Hope you don't get too uncomfortable.

Main thing, don't stress it. Rest up.

The level of stress, panic, fear and doom people exert upon themselves, when it may be any old virus, or a mildish, recoverable Covid, is actually misplaced, unnecessary and counterproductive very often.

The emotional stress significantly weakens our immune response.

interesting.

this is the first thing i've seen posted where anybody says explicitly what the nucleotide content of the part hypothesised to be man made would be. not in the actual thread but n a screenshot in one of the replies.

still don't think i buy that its man made. its natural early on to consider all hypotheses, as they were in february- you can read spike by jeremy farrar, he certainly did not believe it was man made by the time he wrote that. by april when more analysis had been done they had abandoned that hypothesis due to lack of evidence. having updated your views in the light of new evidence isn't a cover up, its what scientists are supposed to do.

i really wish i remembered the rest of that book now. serves me right for being drunk while reading it, mostly i twas to do with them not being listened to by bojo et al rather than the science side.

my guess of why they abandoned it, apart from the evidence against it being man made that i've outlined repeatedly, is because there's approx 600 bp different between sars-cov2 and its closest known relative. so you need to account for the other 588, and that probably has something super dumb in it that no one would engineer on purpose. but you can't say that in a publication lol.

I can't get rapid testing here so I would need to actually go mix with people. So pointless. I'll do the smart thing and stay home, if it's a cold who cares that's what it feels like except the sweat thing and some sinus pressure. If it's the "dread virus covid" it won't take long to be gone.

I really just noticed it last evening, I have been nowhere for a week so getting anything is odd. Because I live in remote, isolated places so much, I feel I really can stay healthier by constant public mixing and disease in small continuous doses.

When I have spent periods of 3-6 months with minimal human contacts I always have a round of cold like symptoms minutes after returning to society. I think a lot of people may become sick now just because there's a lot of diseases that haven't been traveling as much as normal. For me this could just be a cold, they are still more plentiful than Covid.

my contacts in the five eyes told me this is 100% a man made virus that the governments are not going to admit yet due to having to first solve the covid 19 problem before they unleash hell on china and invade them and depose the commies. Everybody needs to start preparing for world war 3 within 15 years

The restrictions we have right now and any harsher restrictions are predicated on the health system being over run. All the restrictions should be lifted immediately. Our entire country is being held to ransom on this premise because the NHS and government are both garbage and unfit for purpose, and both riddled with parasites who get paid for doing nothing and over charging for everything.

It stopped being about protecting actual people a long time ago. May 20th 2020 by all indications.

same in Canada. Worst of all, the healthcare system isn't being overrun, but that's still the perception being fostered.

since 2022 started I have noticed a sharp uptick in both politicians and newsmedia dehumanizing the unvaccinated.

more doctors are fortunately starting to speak up about how unethical it would be to discriminate against people based on vax status. the elephant in the room here is that, if you were to discriminate against the unvaccinated, why not discriminate the same way against self-inflicted diseased caused by poor lifestyle?

hmm let's see. probably because living healthy means no money spent on pharma, while mandatory vaccines mean we're being dragooned into this nice little mafia racket run by the pharmaceutical companies.

nice little livelihood you've got there, would be a shame if something happened to it...

That doesn't really impact other people in the same way that COVID does. You can't spread obesity like a virus. It's a false equivalency.

You can't stop people from being fat unless you remove a shitload of personal freedoms. There is no way the government would be able to justify doing this.

It's not the government's fault if people get fat, even though there is definitely a cultural problem at play. Tobacco, on the other hand, should be illegal. But you can't realistically do that overnight, either. So they are slowly phasing it out.

I think - at a certain weight level - children should be removed from their parents.

and has mass vaccination prevented COVID from spreading among the vaccinated? Hospital figures seem to suggest it has not.

Vaccination vs delta reduced hospitalization by 80%. Numbers for omicron are too muddled to be clear at all. You can not trust a number you can't see how it is arrived at.

I will wait and see because it really just got here and in Canada every patient in every hospital has probably been exposed, many are in the hospitals for reasons that prevent them from being vaccinated so a lot of unvaccinated rounded up hospital patients who didn't come for Covid but got it while there makes numbers really skewed.

A lot of south African hospitals were not milking sick patients for dollars so their numbers were much different.

To obscure what is actually happening, the collapse of the world economy, a fire has been lit. I still have hope enough people wake up before we let them finish whatever is being done while we watch the Covid story play out?

As of January 5th there is still a gulf between vaccinated and unvaccinated hospitalizations in Washington state.

And how many were actually in hospital because of COVID?

Over here, this is what actually happens -

[Health minister] Christine Elliott said 54% were admitted for COVID-19 and 46% tested positive after being admitted for other reasons

We already know that the hospitalization numbers that have been shared with us are not broken down into enough categories. In the U.S. now that Omicron spread through DC to all the bureaucrats and their friends, we're just starting to be told about the difference between hospitalized with or because of covid. Here's New York for example:

we do the same thing!

Lol I cannot get tested, the system is totally overrun. I mean I can but I have to actually go buy my own kit or go get admitted to the hospital.

Perfect. When nobody gets tested and everyone lives maybe people will finally realize that having to show a QR code to go have a guzzle at the Kum-n-Go is just state terrorism
