Had a positive test after lengthy exposure, took a 2 week isolation in which I had a minor sore throat and a dry cough. No fever, no headache, no respiratory issues. Tested clear after 2 weeks.

Physically I'm a senior and my personal immunity is probably less than what I once may have had. Bravado is hilarious to watch, almost as hilarious as complete lose of common sense, neither is of value.

Edit: to be fair I'm trusting the test was accurate.

I’ve said already but I feel it’s still worth saying again, I’ve banged on about my own long and monitored throughout locationally run with it.

I’m sure it’s only a little in my bladder now, so isn’t really affecting me at all, just the post viral fatigue syndrome on par with true flu and I hadn’t restored from that in January with Long C over the top.

But the Covid has not displayed, presented, been suspected, or been diagnosed as a new infection in all that time, 11 months, which is miraculous for immune deficient me, on paper, who gets all and any super or even mildly infectious but common infections annually from Lyme’s disordering conduct on all things normal.

No sign at all in my respiratory system since that one initial week in September, when the Electromedicine really did squash it down in no time, leaving only a tiny dormant trace deep in bottom of lungs in November.

So I do appear to have acquired post infection immunity. And am most certainly a survivor.
 
It’s anathema to me to consider this a trial. Trials are randomized (meaning you don’t pick which group you are in), have controls, etc. You can state that the testing period could have been longer for the vaccine, but what is happening now isn’t a trial in any scientific sense of the word.

Sure, randomized or not they are still figuring out how well this vax works

Except there is…before you get the vax don’t you have to sign some waver stating you understand the vax isn’t approved by the FDA, dosent that typically happen in trials ?
 
I don’t think you guys are giving yourselves enough credit, you are trying an unapproved vaccine with little to no trial period for the good of the human race, your heros in my book

Most things are a lot less proven than you seem to think. A lot of science has just been someone willing to try something on someone else or sometimes themselves. So far the vaccine is holding up pretty well.

And I hope it continues to hold up, like Iv said if there no real problems with it in a couple years I will get it
 
i wish i could be the only one not vaccinated in the united states, and then just see what happens to everybody else and the whole thing

Yes but surely, totally regardless, it’s very numbskull foolhardy, counter intuitive, very questionable…plainly strange, to so early on in official ongoing trials set for later 22 completion, to completely invalidate the control group by giving them all the actual vaccine as well.

I’m just remembering that film now can’t remember the name with Denzel Washington in like an apocalypse sound world universe with trolleys and stuff around and loads of renegades running round robin people water being the greatest commodity awful and expensive as Coke.

Was that another plain case of predictive programming and warning? As movies so often are.

I got half of the moderna (as did SO). We are sposed to get the other half on the 30th I think (have to look at the card).

And much as I’d like to, I’m not going to be moving to America any time soon.

Ofc, there will be others.

If I was the only one to ever die again from Covid- Great!

But I’m not so hot on being the only remaining survivor on earth, though I could think of worse things.

Edit- haha, like Bill Gates surviving too!!

completely fictitious of course....but just wondering how it would go - i know ppl think they might know how it'll go, but i'd still like to watch it unfold....from the sidelines
