you still have the option to refuse the shot....there's been talk and threats of ppl who don't get the shots, but nothing's really happened.....so what if i can't take a vacation in Europe without a vaccine passport? then i won't go to Europe....i don't need to go there....i don't need to leave the country....these are all luxury type things anyway....who knows how long that's all gonna last anyway....i just don't understand how come there's never been a vaccine passport before but now it's an issue?

i'm not trying to convince anybody of anything....just matters that are open to debate....the thing that bothers me, is that there's this whole thing of "don't worry it's totally safe" when it really isn't....shouldn't there be some pre-screening? im not 100% sure that my heart is in perfect shape, and there's a possibility of myocarditis....im not taking that chance....if you wanna, go right ahead, but im not doing it.....

Personal OPINION is that no matter what they're deemed as: this thing is going to outrun them and continue to mutate. It's sole purposes in "life" (let's not debate that part) is to propagate and survive and by any means. And the more we fuck with natural selection and survival of the fittest: the more adept it's going to be become at survival. We're on "E" now if I'm not mistaken (in the new naming convention). Just wait until we get to "Q"!

i didn't challenge your story. it seems i didn't make myself clear. i don't want to get involved in a trauma olympics.

i pointed out that, in the unenviable position of knowing what abuse is myself, the safety measures being taken around the world are not abuse. they are actually literally for your own good and have been demonstrated empiirically to be so. this is not what abusers do and i maintain that attempting to draw parallels between these situations is offensive.

You just want to get on with your life and for people to listen to you and see things like you see them and like you are told to see them by others.

Maybe you are demanding something that is unreasonable and irrational. That is offensive to me and to many others. So we have a stalemate and there must be a compromise in order for both parties to resolve their differences and live in peace together. We cannot sustain this level of antisocial behaviour in society - on both sides of the argument, I may add to be fair. If we keep this up we will be living in a segregated society before long where violence, disconnection and sickness within our society and culture dominates the lives of everybody.

Surely you see that? You seem very passionate about this but forcing others to see things like you IS a form of violence and if you trawl through decades of studies into social issues in society you will see at their core exists this very problem. Its hard to see when you believe you are on the winning side because the promise of a reward and social validation and approval seems irresistable. I can relate to that because I want those things. But at what cost? Nobody wins. In the end society rights the wrongs and we seek to restore justice and so inevitably what you believe today and how you act around others in the future will be unjustified, just like attacking black people for simply being black is and beating a woman because you believe women are inferior and belong in the home under control.

It might seem completely unrelated now but the underlying theme is there. This is how some of the most destructive problems were born in our society and how they then infested every corner of our social fabric. It all starts like this.

You also are not the only one who has experienced abuse and again, as stated before, abuse is different for everybody but the trauma fundamentally is the same. You cannot really believe that you are in a position to justify discrediting someone elses experiences just because your experiences were different or your beliefs about your experiences are different. You can hurt a lot of people taking this approach and potentially invalidate many peoples experience and just so YOUR perceptions are a priority. In many ways this IS a form of abuse in itself if the intention to deny others validation of their experiences in order for you to project your dogma onto them. This when the victim becomes the abuser. It is a very fine line.

For my own conscience I couldnt set out to control other peoples lives and then reduce them down if they dont agree. That to me is exactly what abusers do. I think you have to be careful you do not fall victim to regressing to dysfunctional and toxic patterns of behaviour that you adapted to during past trauma.

Isnt that what we are all doing now? We have all been abused and we are now falling back on coping mechanisms and conditioned patterns of behaviour in order to protect ourselves from a perceived threat. In reality, that threat doesnt exist. The threat is the person/entity telling you the world is a dangerous place and you must consider everyone and everything a threat.

Groupthink is a real thing.
Dont strike every scientist off just for agreeing with the narrative. Science and the research thereof has always been, like politics, fuelled by groupthink. Most scientists jobs, especially those in key positions are kept imprisoned by the desire to follow the narrative and to do things and act in line with, said narrative.

Politics is no different. When you are conditioned within your environment to follow protocol despite that protocol perhaps not having solid foundations or even being based on rational and/or beneficial grounding, you will find it much easier to simply go with the flow and to see and think in ways deemed appropriate and acceptable within that environment.

Independent science in terms of the areas involved with COVID-19 doesnt really exist. Everybody has a boss whose being funded by somebody. That funding cannot simply stop otherwise the research never happens and you dont get on the ladder and do your dream job.

Unfortunately science is ruled over and is plagued by, these issues. But that has always been the case for a long time. This isnt new. People are not simply turning against you or anybody else, not everybody anyway. These people we consider experts were always dancing with the devil getting into work where there are far more powerful forces at play than your title and accolades ever will grant you. You cant simply go against these forces, not without paying a heavy price and forever being cast out of your specific scientific community.

Groupthink it is then. Everybody just following everybody else. Why? Because everybody else is doing the same and our belief systems and philosophy encourage us to do that because the foundations of our systems and institutions are essentially corrupted and cater to private interests who dominate medicine and science in general. And who teach fledgling scientists and future experts to either toe the line or be excluded.

were they trying to make a bio-weapon? maybe....but whatever happened, i still think it was an accident....i think it came out of the lab but they're never going to admit it with so much liability at stake.....i think it had to come out of the virology lab - i mean your playing with bat viruses at a lab from bats that live 1000 miles away and that's ground zero, so where else could it be from? does anybody actually think it didn't come from that lab?
