Yes, this happened, but back in 2017 and was a marketing mistake by the grocery store in labelling the product. In effect, there should have been a comma between the 'Skittles White' and 'Pride', as they are pride skittles, just colored white. They are not 'white pride' despite how the internet described them afterwards.

Personally, I kind of respect and appreciate the attempt by Skittles saying the colors don't matter and in effect giving theirs up (still a ploy targeting pride month, but a unifying effort). It is unfortunate they chose white as the non-color, and had to later switch to gray. Technically, white is comprised of all colors of light and black is the absence of all color, but now I'm getting nerdy.
