The guy resisted arrest. There are at least two angles on what happened. The first video begins when he escapes after brawling and wrestling with multiple police, on the ground, which is shown in a video released later. He disobeys direct commands. Multiple times. He walks to his car and they are telling him to "drop the knife" from the sound, in the first video. He could be getting a gun. The cop was justified, at that moment (7 shots seems like a lot, but coming from watching the second-released video where there was real physical fighting going on, it seems to fit more in a context of increased adrenaline, not just the calm walk as was shown in the first video by the subject).

Perhaps there could be a better way, I have to consider, but I am not there, and I don't deal with these dumb assholes that think that they can just resist arrest and not face consequences. The dude is 29 and was wanted for sexually penetrating, not sure if by force, a 15 year old girl. He should have complied.

Even if the cop was in the bad for firing 7 shots - I can't say he was wrong to fire one, two, three to be sure, maybe 4, given that they had little time to know what was about to happen. The subject refused commands, repeatedly. He could have had a gun in his car. The police have to make a decision and they have a right to protect themself. Again right before this, seconds, maybe 5 seconds, he was brawling it out on the ground with police. They told him to stop, and to drop a knife. He has a violent history including assaulting police, and strangulation/domestic-violence, and they knew this before going to apprehend him for a felony sex crime with a 15 year old (he's 29, unless this is a different instance). Read about his history. He's no-one you want around your community.

...Even if the cop was in the wrong, even if the laws are wrong, the next logical step is not going and torching/looting the fucking community. And quite honestly I would not care to see every last one of these people put down, who do this. Fuck you if you're on their side, at all. You can burn, too.

His father reported that he is paralyzed from the waist down. The doctors aren’t sure if this is going to be permanent. Dudes super lucky to be alive. Fucking cop shot him in front of his 3 children. It was really stupid of him to not follow the commands of the the officers pointing guns at him. This was inevitable, and all too common. If a cop was pointing a gun at me, I wouldn’t just ignore him and make it look like I was reaching for a weapon in my car. Dude was really stupid behaving in a threatening way.

He apparently got in the middle of a cat fight between two women while he had his three kids in his car. Dudes really dumb all around.

Lesson is, don’t get in the middle of a cat fight, ever.

I watched the videos from multiple perspectives that are being posted online. I am not sure why during a disease pandemic these stupid people rush out into the streets without wearing masks, and they do not practise any social distancing at all?

IMO... the protesters need to take up arms as this shit has been going on way to long.
Identifying with the downtrodden (as I am), This country needs to be burned down to ashes (politically and physically) and rebuilt on the premise that we are all actually equal. as put forth by the declaration of independence.
This will not end well for many... it is polarizing and it is a ploy used to separate and conquer (read up on roman tactics). Old school/good ol buy politics is hopefully coming to and end soon. Not sure where I fit in so waiting on the opportunity to do the most "good for the cause.
