I'm getting information from doctors working in Spain and if you read around you'll see some medical professionals calling bullshit on this. Yes there is a virus but it is being way overhyped and our civil liberties are being stripped away from us - with welcoming arms. I'm hearing people demand that they be locked in their homes due to this fear of the virus. If you don't intuitively feel that there's something very wrong going on here then I don't really know what to say. This is how totalitarian systems are implemented. It's always nice and beneficial at first.

By the way notice now that everyone is separated - literally every conversation is being recorded. You cannot meet more than 3 people outside in almost every country right now. They've effectively banned protesting, organizing - and they've also convinced people to dob you in if you do so. This isn't just a virus it's a mind virus and most people have been infected. But not all.

Ha also Sweden is giving 330 permanent residence permits to "refugees" daily...
 
I'm getting information from someone I know in NYC who sees what's going on with the health system getting overwhelmed. I'm not in the habit of thinking my friends are lying to me to further some agenda. It seems a lot more likely to me that my friend and all sorts of people and medical professionals all around the world are telling the truth, and this speculative conspiracy is the thing that is less likely.

Health systems get overwhelmed ALL THE TIME they're just not obsessively reported on by the media and USED AS AN EXCUSE TO STRIP AWAY ALL OF OUR RIGHTS. A few years back 25,000 people died just in the UK during a bad flu season. This whole panic is based on "what could happen" not what is actually happening. They even changed the definition of "pandemic" in 2009 so that a lot of people DO NOT have to die first before they label it as such. It can be merely a threat. It's literally a virus boogeyman right now and the MSM are your parents scaring you with it.

EXAMPLES:

-Go back two years, add some extra precautionary measures, and you have the very same scenarios for the flu in some hospitals as you have today in some hospitals for covid-19.

Donald Trump made his first serious address in the entirety of his presidency today. Either it was an April Fools joke or shit's actually serious. I love seeing his head spin as he 180s as the truth is laid bare before him, his friends getting ill and going into comas. Irony can be so delicious.
 
This angered me today. A total of £810 fine just for not stating what she was doing at a railway station. Utterly over the top and heavy-handed. They're going to lose all support if they behave like this. You can commit really serious crimes in the UK and receive a lot less.

I heard one of Trump's Covid-19 addresses I think the day before yesterday, and he said the reason he had been speaking 'positively' over the last month was because he didn't want to cause any more panic than the media were already generating. I mean, it sounds like a sensible and honest reply?
 
They're letting rapists out of jail because of the coronavirus but if you're caught having a party you're going to jail because of the coronavirus

This is such bullshit. Because when the virus turns out to be relatively nothing they can say "see - locking everyone down and surveilling them worked".

After this blows over, let's see how much back to "normal" everything goes..

People do need to be calmed. I was on the phone with my ISP trying to get something sorted yesterday and the guy was like, "Wow, you're like, the nicest person I've talked to all day!" And I'm honestly a real prick, so... that tells you just how asinine people are becoming over this...
 
I think this whole ordeal could vastly change some things for the better once it’s done. The idea that we all have to make sacrifices for the good of all is a concept that is being fully realized by many people now. The climate crisis we have created is our next greatest threat to society and it will take everyone working together once again to solve it

I was supposed to be going in April but moved it to July. I am going somewhere because this lockdown and not being able to go 2km from your house is driving me to insanity.

Ps hope you’re able to reorganise your holiday! It sucks so bad when you have to cancel!

Can you show me anyone whos gone to jail for having a party such as you describe?

Also how does it make sense for an increasingly authoritarian government to be releasing people from jail?
