really low. But so what if he does? I keep reminding people...impeachment is not a conviction. He will be there until at least January 2021. Democrats need to start getting organized for the midterms and 2020 and forget about the Mueller probe. If something dramatic comes of it, great, but that fucker Perez needs to get his head out of his ass and focus.

I do think that unless Trump and fans tweet the Mueller investigation to death, some real convictions will come out of it.

Whether or not Trump gets impeached is a political question. Right now, I'd agree he wouldn't.

But as we've seen, things change quickly and Trump is an anchor for the GOP during midterms. Great fundraiser, very divisive among voters.

And it's obvious that Mueller is completely willing to work with various state DAs to keep the whole "let's pardon our way out" strategy neutralized.

It's funny to watch a judge go through the motions of expressing shock shock shock that prosecutors are using Manafort's past crimes to either flip him or make him an example (after Rick Gates flipped, this is more a scalp to collect. And the guy is such a scumbag).

I'm in the "Mueller isn't interviewing/indicting the inner circle, etc. until he's ready to wrap up" group. Or does everyone think Kushner, for example, hasn't done anything highly illegal?

All rhetorical. We shall see.
 
Stumbled across this eerily prescient semi-staged production of Leonard Bernstein's Candide with the New York Philharmonic from 2004. For those unfamiliar with Voltaire's novella or the operetta itself, Candide and Dr. Pangloss, his mentor, having fled a ruined Westphalia, end up in Lisbon, where they promptly land in front of the Grand Inquisitor as heretics. And here I woulda thought this reference would have gotten dated long ago:

 
Question: does Trump use spray tan or a tanning bed?

I assumed it was spray because he looks so pale sometimes, but a tanning bed is also possible.

For those of you who think that this is trivial, I would reply that this is apparently critical to Trump's self-image, like his combover. And yes it is, but I'm curious. Thoughts?

Of course, now we know that Trump was absolutely correct and that the Obama administration was not only spying on Trump Tower but they even implanted a spy into his campaign.

Oh boy and how the liberal media spun POTUS's "animals" comment into a full on display of racism & victimization.

I'm not sure the liberal media would survive one day without someone or something being absolutely discriminated.

Seems to me that any reason-minded person can easily see how ms-13 is a bunch of animals. What will all their super transparent goings on and never shady underworkings. Oh, and the murders, too. Nope, no animals to see there. Not one. Please!!

And what's funny is that the liberal media is so intent on damaging POTUS in any way possible that in their continued assertions of POTUS as being racist, in this case, they"ve aligned themselves with ms-13 in an empathetic way. What fucking morons! I wonder if this has crossed the minds of those powers that be in liberal media.

No liberal of the political class could ever allow ANY little opportunity to victimize a person or class of people to their benefit. EVER!

When the topic is POTUS's face makeup, there is no platform being offered and no rational debate to be had.

My gut tells me that that so called "blue wave" is actually more like a little ripple of blue water from a toppled over portajohn. I could be wrong. Historically, incumbent party tends to lose seats at mid-terms.

^^Yeah I think that's been pretty well established. Look at what normal guys will do in a war. It's never enough to just kill someone, they've got to do something more whether it's taking scalps. cutting off ears or cutting off the dead persons balls and shoving them down his throat. The mei lai massacre. Women, children and old people just indiscriminately murdered, clearly non-combatants.
 
Okay, apparently the "liberals" aren't being serious enough.

I'll try to be clear:
1) there are a number of gangs in the US, so why is MS-13 being cited so often by Trump?

2) I don't condone gang activity. I'm not expressing sympathy for a particular gang. I'm asking why they are such a focal point for Trump. So, again, why MS-13 as opposed to general gang activity?
